My machine is tripping my electric supply

Somewhere inside the machine there is a wire which has lost its insulation and is touching the frame of the machine. In other words you have a short in the machine. Be thankful that the supply is tripping because otherwise the casing of the machine would become live and could be deadly. Get someone in to check it out if you are not confident in taking it apart yourself. Unplug it until it has been sorted.

Lights turn on but foot pedal stays dead. Needle

If you know someone who is savvy in the mysteries of electricity, ask them to test the foot pedal to see if it is working and the socket on the machine to see if it is receiving power.

If you need a new foot control pedal - check the Internet for best prices - you will need the machine's model number.

If you take the machine to a dealer for service, ask what it will cost before making the trip.

The bench rate for just looking at the machine may not be worth it.

Electric dryer does not start

Check and make sure your electrical power is going to the machine.
If it is then it could be a faulty start switch, timer, or faulty motor.
Make sure you machine is turned off, then reach inside the machine and turn the drum by hand, sometimes motors get a dead zone in them and this will move it from that zone.
After turning the drum 1/4-1/2 turn, try to start the machine again.
I hope this helps
