I decided in the end to go back to basics. I got a lead which splits the connector into 3 seperate items. Ignored plug 'C' that is the "odd" stuff. Plug 'B' speakers and Plug 'A' . just used the perm feed in, switched feed in and the ground. Did not even bother with aerial feed. Worked first time!!

On the Astra there were loads connected to the plug, some had 2 connections. Something to do with the OEM on dash display for the original radio I think. All works now apart from the very occasional loss of volume when switching the engine on!! I can live with that though. Thanks for the input, I have stuck a note to the bottom of the unit so that when I refit it next time I have a chance

    Thanks

Hi there,

I have just had the same problem. I have a N reg vectra and just fitted a Maystar radio. I too was getting the PHONE IN message randomly when the ignition was on (fine when not).

I think the PHONE IN is a mute function to cut sound when a call comes in. On my connections it was the brown wire - it should tell you the "Phone in" connection in the manual or on the bottom of the radio. I disconnected this and taped up with insulation tape to avoid connecting with anything else. Worked for me!

Waste motor error

The wate motor transfers (you guess it) waste toner to the waste toner bottle. If the bottle fills up, the motor cannot transfer more waste to it. This is rare, for the printer should ask for a new waste toner bottle when the previous one fills. However,it happens frequently when users try to empty and clean the bottle instead of replacing it.

Tried to tighten belt on my sofetail harley but adjustment bolt are all the way in but there's more room to go can I get a longer adjustment bolt or make one

you probably get longer bolts but I would be asking why you would need them
maybe the belt is stretched or the wrong size belt is what i would be considering. have you had the bike all the time ,if not was a different wheel pulley fitted at some time making the belt the wrong size
did the adjusting bolts break at some time and the wrong bolts fitted

have you checked the water fitting at both ends if they are dry and both tight look at the waste connection i would advise getting PTFE tape for screw fittings any diy store will have it just ask, but checking that all fittings are tightly done up and hoses aren't broken it might be seals inside the washer that might be worth getting someone to look at sorry cant be any more help.

How do i replace the waste toner box on the konica minolta

When you open the door to access the toner and waste toner area, you will see a letter "K" on the left side of the waste toner box, and a thumb screw on the right side of the waste toner box. Immediately above the letter "K" there is a raised area in the brown plastic housing. It is between the blue toner cartridge, and the waste oner box. There is a second raised area 2.5 inches at a 225 degree angle below the thumb screw on the right side of the waste toner box.
If you will place your thumbs on the raised areas and your forefingers on the white plastic rear cover of the waste toner box immediately below the raised areas and squeeze your fingers towards your thumbs, the waste toner box will come forward at the top of the box. You can then lift the waste toner box up and out of the printer.
Please squeeze carefully if you think your waste toner box is close to full as you may inadvertently find waste toner all over the place.
The two blue caps on the back of the waste toner box are to keep the waste toner in the waste toner box instead of your carpet.
Installation of the new waste toner box is the reverse of the above procedure. The new waste toner box almost snaps in place.
Here in California waste toner is considered a hazardous material and must be disposed of properly.
