How do I find the part number for replacing control board for GE?

I would not be so sure about that the problem is in the control board. Check switches on the door lock assemblies first.

Ge refrigerator

HI. This will be the cause of a defective PCB. This circuit board is the main controller of your unit. the clicking is the result of a failed relay assembly. these relays are mounted on the board, itself. The board should be mounted just behind an access panel, on the rear of the unit, slightly above or near the compressor assembly. Kindly have this PCB replaced, asap.

The PCB is , indeed, the culprit in this situation. Once the PCB is exposed, you should visually inspect for brownish discoloring, and relay trauma. Possible power surge may have caused the board to short.

GE Profile - model PDS22 - constant clicking noise

Yeah, same problem. There are two capacitors that seem to be prone to going out. You can replace the main board, or (if you can solder) replace the two capacitors with slightly larger ones (radio shack mdl number 272-1030 works) just remember to bend them away from the heat sink if you go that route.

Ge Profile psf26ng

It is possible the control board located on back of refrigerator is defective. Unplug pull away from wall and open cover to examine the board. If burned on front or back side the board will need replaced. Sometimes no burns are present. The replacement board part number is WR55X10656
Visit my site and enter the model of the refrigerator or part number to board in the search feature. We also offer free help. click link below. Thanks, Sea Breeze
