I have a HPw1907 monitor and it will turn on for about 2 seconds, and it turns off. The CPU is fine, just a problem with the monitor. Any way to fix this?

We have the same model of monitor and had the same problem few days ago. The monitor just goes black/turns off. I noticed that the power button has a yellow blinking light and cannot be turn on/off again using the power button. The CPU is working fine also. When I turn off the avr, the power button's light turns blue for a few second and you can hear a click sound from the back of the lcd before it totally turns off. My lcd monitor is over a year old now and is 110v or 220v capable. Mine was originally in a 220v, i just put it in 110v and the monitor was fixed.. Hope this can somehow fix your problem.

Go to menu, Image control, custom scaling, fill to aspect ratio.

Not a complete solution but it will keep your monitor from auto adjusting its resolution which is the cause of it turning black to begin with.

My hp 1502 lcd monitor only shows a white screen

If you don't use an identical monitors, then they may not work if your video card can not handle them. The "check video cable" it means the monitor does not get a signal, and it does not mean that the monitor is a problematic monitor. You can test this monitor as a single monitor (and try to connect it using first video port, and then move it to the second video port).

My hpw1907 monitor says no input and wont display anything. The cpu also makes 1 beeping noise that last 1 second nd doesnt come back

A one second beep from the computer is standard for a proper boot.
Do you have a TV that you can plug your computer into to see if it is posting video? That would be the easiest way to test if it is a computer or monitor thing.

My fairly new HP W2338H monitor turns on but then goes black after one or two seconds. Do you have any advice for what the problem is or what the cost would be to fix the problem?

Fairly new? How new? If it's under warranty, you should have it replaced or fixed by HP or the store you bought it at.

You can attempt the following... unplug it... press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, repeat. Plug it back in and turn it on. This may reset it so it will stay on.

The cost of repair might be more than the cost of a replacement.

When i turn it on it only appears only a second , my monitor turn black

Hello Chelleydiao, hi, its either you have a CPU problem or the monitor itself. Check or use another monitor to see if the problem is fix. you see an blank monitor can also be caused by the CPU if it fails to boot. the aid the checking, do you see any orange light on the monitor? or any indication.... the led light on the screen in summary: green or blue means there is power and the CPU boots up. if orange the CPU fails to boot, if there are no lights on the Monitor panels, there are problems on the monitor. check these first....I need a much detail description.

Here the monitor does not have any problem.Initially test monitor by removing the monitor cable from the cpu.
you can see small boxes moving in the screen this ensures your monitor is ok

Here he problem is with Ram in the cpu .Just remove the ram and clean the ram slot and ram and then fix it tt will work fine

Maybe, your monitor is not compatible on your cpu. Or check if the series adapter from monitor is properly inserted at the back of your CPU.
