HI,

This problem will require a physical presence of a tech. You actually need to unscrew the phone from the back with a set of tools and remove the carbon in the phone. You will then have to clean the keypad with a help cotton and few drops of alcohol. But if you notice any black spots on the keypad that means the carbon has been deposited on it and it can only be removed with a set of special pin link tool.Make sure not to use excess amount of alcohol as it can get into the circuits of the cell phone. So you will have to get it repaired.

And if this phone is under warranty then i highly recommend you to send it to them.If you attempt to fix it yourself then you might end up damaging the circuits which will void the warranty.

I ride my scooter and then it turns off..the button pops out and when I push it back in it will work for a few moments then stop again.. is the battery done?

I posted a simliar question. I ended up taking my scooter to a battery store that is licensed to work on razor scooters. They ulitmately concluded the wires to the popup fuse itself were loose. They replaced the popup fuse as well just incase. I have now been using the scooter without the fuse popping every 50-100 feet.

You have to hold down the end call button which is a red circle on the right side of the keyboard. Hold it down about 3 seconds and the phone should turn on. Hope I Helped!

Wont turn off

First, take the battery out and put it back in to reset it. Then try again to see if you can manually turn it off.

This resets the phone and is the first step in troubleshooting.

Another thing I would do, is test to see if there is something wrong with the end button itself. With a flip phone, normally the end button is unneeded because you close it to hang up. Try ending a call using that button to see if it is a broken keypad issue.

I would also have the local store update the firmware, which should repair any files that may be corrupted, if that is the case.

Also, if the phone has any water damage (when you open the back of the phone, there will be a red dot instead of a white one), this can cause all sorts of crazy problems.

If none of the above solutions work, the only other way to power your phone off is just to remove the battery. You should be able to put the battery back in without the phone restarting, but if it does, just keep the battery out when you want the phone off.

Wet phon

If the screen is working, your phone seems fine, however, you must take this phone to someone who knows how to open the phone and clean the IC. The drink must have gone inside the phone due to which the keypad is not working. For the iPod, it seems the battery isnt charging anymore. Thats why it won't work when not connected to the power. So, get the battery checked.
