The only way I was able to clear fragments of paper from the fuser was to remove the fuser it was then easy to remove the paper fragments. Before you do that you could try manually pushing a 5 inch strip of a manila folder up through the rollersl although that did not work for me.

Make sure when you try the manila folder approach that you release the envelope tabs

What happens if you pull a paper jam from feeder, the opposite direction that your support to?

There are usually a number of paper guides and sensor arms that will tear into the paper if pulled the wrong way.
This can leave paper fragments in the fuser causing further jams, temperature sensor malfunctions, or odd marks on the print, and small pieces of paper left in the fuser usually require disassembling the unit to clean it out.
At worst case one or more sensor arms could be dislocated or broken which can be difficult or expensive to replace.

It keeps telling me there is a paper jam but I see no paper in printer??

Check for the paper fragments inside. It is also likely that while removing the paper either some fragments are stuck or the pick up roller pivot is broken.

The paper stuck in the printer. What should I do? How can I get it from printer?

stuck where one is left to wonder...., one removes jams by open rear door or front and removing toner, or cassette, if it is crumpled in fuser, then it aint easy without pulling it apart, sometimes a manual feed via hand of a pice of stiff card or laminate in direction of paper path (dont pull it against direction nor should jams be pulled backwards), cut a point in lamiante to allow you to poke then pull threw removing paper fragments

Changed the toner cartridge and got a message saying "internal fire"

Were there any paper jams lately? Check the fuser for burnt paper fragments.

Back cover alert keeps flashing

The black lines sound like it may be a contaminated fuser roller. Surface of one of these rollers is a Teflon coat. In time this wears away and the end result is toner build up that eventually transfers to the paper.A Photo Sensor is a switch that monitors the path of the paper thru the cycle of paper pick up all the way to exit of the paper from the out put. These switches open and close. when there is a paper jam and not all of the paper is removed fragments of the removed paper can be left behind. this can actually trigger an error of door open/close cover. The mentioned "two blue tabs" are the release point of the fuser upper roller that you toggle to move the roller up or release the downward pressure from the bottom roller. These are used to clear a paper jam . If you have access to a small flash light, look carefully in that area for fragments of paper. The "yellow triangle " is part of the warning label of the fuser cover stating that this is an extremely hot in temperature piece and to handle with care or touch with the power off and wait to cool prior to any inspection,. If there is no signs of fragments of paper in the area, a "sensor" flag might be stuck and blocking the photo sensor's light path, triggering the " Back Cover open" error.....hope this helps,Steve
