Question about Pioneer Televison & Video
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
It would be dependent on how the DVD is connected to the plasma TV. On most instances, an additional pair of RCA to RCA (red & white) cables are required for the audio. This is in addition to the yellow (composite) or red, blue & green (component) cables for video connections.
It must be pointed out though that there are other connection methods depending on the available jacks on both the DVD and TV such as ANT/RF, HDMI, digital audio. Postback with the model numbers of the Pioneer and DVD player. Additionally, please describe how they are interconnected, the number & colors of the cables and from what jacks to what jacks.
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
