My computer was reformatted yesterday. i got no sounds ive tried downloading realtek like what i used to install for sounds but this doesnt work now. i dont know waht is the problem pls help me i have m7vig400 written on the motherboard,..
Hey there, sounds to me like you might be missing a microsft driver. right click my computer=> automatic updates=> windows update website and choose manual install. look through all the updates in the left collumn for an audio driver. let me know if you need more help.

Tips for a great answer:
Update your embedded sound from Realtek to the latest AC'97 codec.
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers or you can download the drivers
