You need the USB Manager software to view the files. Have a look at all the software that were supplied with the machine. Load the embroidery software on your laptop and then open the USB manager.

When it opens it will show a light blue screen and grey icons to the left. Click in "disk", then click on "read disk" and you should be able to see your designs. The grey icons will turn orange were designs are stored, and the grey ones indicate empty space for more designs.

Enjoy your fantastic machine

SOURCE: unable to load 3d embroidery on hp windows 7

3D was intended to be used on XP and also worked for some time on Vista with the proper manipulation of updates. I don't believe that it will work at all on Windows 7.

4D does work on both Vista and Windows 7. It does need the latest update for Windows 7.

You can have replacement discs ordered from Husqvarna Viking. Visit an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer for them to order the replacement discs. However, you might luck out and they have some already on hand from a scrapped machine or a trade-in. You can find your nearest dealer by visiting the Husqvarna Viking website - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com and clicking on dealer link down the left side of the page.

Good luck.

I have a husquavViking designer diamond and the embroidery arm will not engage. The sewing machine works, though. The embroidery arm worked previously. What could be wrong?

I can think of a few possible issues with the embroidery arm. First check for any bent or damaged contacts on both sides (sewing machine and embroidery arm). If there are bent pins, they need to be straightened (gently). Next, the electrical connections could have oxidation/dirt that is making blocks the proper seating of the pins. Try using an electronic contact cleaner. Spray the contacts with the sewing machine unplugged. Then seat and remove the embroidery arm several times to clean both sides of the connection. Wait until the spray dries to turn on the sewing machine to test the embroidery unit connection. Check if the embroidery arm moves freely once attached.

In one case, I know of someone who has two Husqvarna embroidery sewing machines. They mixed up which embroidery unit went with which machine. They were not interchangeable and didn't seat properly. Correctly connecting the correct arm to the appropriate machine solved the problem.

I hope this helps.

Machine needs to rest message

When you see this message, wait until the OK message is enabled. Tap the OK button and then resume sewing. This message occurs often enough to be listed in the manual under Pop-up messages in both the Sewing and Embroidery section. (That starts on the last few pages of each of these "chapters".) Turning off the machine while this message is displayed may cause on issue with the on-board computer.

For the Husqvarna Viking Designer Diamond Royale, you can find the manual on the product page: http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/en-US/Machines/DESIGNER-DIAMOND-Royale . The direct link to the manual is http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/getattachment/Machines/DESIGNER-DIAMOND-Royale/Designer_Diamond_Royale_manual_ENG.pdf.aspx . The pop-up for the Machine needs to rest is shown on pages 4-26 and 8-14 (pages 74 and 123 of the PDF). The Designer Ruby Royale has the messages on pages 4-24 and 8-14 (70 and 116 of the PDF). The manual for this machine is here: http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/SiteMedia/Products/Machines/-%20DESIGNER%20RUBY%20Royale/Manual/Ruby_Royale-manual-EN.pdf .

I hope this helps. If the message comes up after a few minutes of sewing (under 5), I would recommend that you consider cleaning the bobbin area. Sometimes a flossing swab can help remove debris that has gotten into the corners below the bobbin. If that doesn't help, your machine may need to be serviced.

You have probably got the machine set to use a different size hoop. Click on the hoop icon and change it to the size you are using. Hope this helps you.

Where can I locate the fuse<

Hello,

The Pfaff 7570 Creative Designer is a computerized sewingand embroidery machine that has the ability to connect to the computer, andhave embroidery designs sent to the embroidery machine. The sewing andembroidery machine has many features, including hundreds of general sewingfunctions, a separate embroidery module, and on-screen editing features. TheCreative Designer 7570, manufactured in the 1990s, was the first sewing andembroidery combination machine ever made by Pfaff.

1. Usingthe Sewing Machine
1 Turn on your sewing machine using the "On"button located just below the turn wheel on the right side of the machine.Thread your Pfaff 7570. Note that Pfaff sewing machines thread from left toright, not right to left like other sewing machines. The upper tension discsshould be raised at their highest position while threading, and the presserfoot should be raised up until you thread the needle. Drop the presser footright before you thread the needle. The prevents thread problems during use. 2 Insert a full bobbin and retrieve the bobbin threadthrough the thread plate. Raise your sewing foot and needle to its highestposition; hold the needle thread taught with your left hand, lower the needleinto the thread plate using your right hand, and then raise the needle. As youraise the needle, the needle thread will catch the bobbin thread, and pull itup. There should be a loop of thread intertwined with the needle thread. Usetweezers, your finger, or a straight pin to retrieve the bobbin thread that isvisible through the thread plate, and pull it through the plate. 3 Place the fabric under the presser foot, and drop thepresser foot. Choose the stitch you want to use from the top stitch display, right above the top thread feed. Press the '0-9" button located on thesewing machine's front panel, and a display screen will come up. Input thethread number, and press the 'OK' button located on the sewing machine's frontpanel. The stitch will display, and you are ready to sew. Repeat Step 3 foreach stitch you want to use.

2. SettingUp the Embroidery Unit
1 Turn the sewing machine off. Take out the embroiderymachine unit, locate the connection bushing on the back of your embroideryunit, and match it up with the connection bushing on your sewing machine. Theconnection bushing should be located next to a yellow sticker on yourembroidery unit, and somewhat resembles a serial port on a computer. Slide theembroidery unit onto the sewing machine with the sewing machine turned off. Connectto the bushing carefully as you slide the embroidery unit onto the sewingmachine. Use your embroidery unit manual if you need assistance. 2 Insert an embroidery card. Your embroidery unitshould contain an embroidery card labeled embroidery card 1. Use that or useanother Pfaff 7570 card that you own. Turn on the sewing machine. 3 Open the bobbin case area just below the threadplate, and lower the feed dogs by pushing the feed dog switch to the right.Press the card button located on the front face of your sewing machine. Adisplay with pop up; choose embroidery designs or monogram and a new screenwill pop up with your design choices. Choose the design you want, and press"OK." A checklist screen appears. Do everything on the checklist, andpress "OK." Use your embroidery unit manual if you need help. 4 Start embroidery by pressing the foot pedal. At thistime, your hoop should already be attached to the embroidery unit becauseyou've already gone through the checklist. Your embroidery manual displayscolored picture diagrams that are very helpful in understanding everything inyour checklist menu.

Recently during an embroidery the needle started "fixing" very rapidly and wouldn't stop. Had to unplug it. Now designs will load to the point where I touch them choose the one I want. The...

Make sure the embroidery unit is plugged in securely. If it is only a tiny bit out of its socket, the machine will behave erratically. Also ALWAYS "park" the embroidery arm before removing it by pressing the Needle Down button. Do this before you turn the power off when you are done embroidering. If the arm is not in the correct position when you plug it in (i.e. has NOT been parked) then it won't calibrate properly. I believe you can manually move the arm into the parked position. It's not something I would want to do myself but if you are really stuck it might be worth trying. You need to exert quite a bit of force. Also be sure to remove any hoops before you "park" and remove the embroidery unit.

Can you access the Menus properly when the embroidery unit is not on the machine? If you can, recalibrate the touch screen by going to the Set menu, scrolling through the "More" pages until you find "Calibrate Touch Screen Adjust". Use your stylus or the blunt end of a machine needle to touch exactly in the centre of the crosses, starting at No.1. It will turn green then do No.2 and exit the screen (OK) without touching anything else.

If you can make the machine work, try doing a different embroidery - there may be a problem with that particular one. If you cannot get it to work properly, it will need to be seen by a repair technician, sorry.

When I sew with the regular portion of my Designer One, all is fine. I've been using the embroidery attachment and when I embroidery a simple design, the top looks great, but the bobbin thread is sooo taut...

The bobbin tension sounds ok if regular sewing is ok. The upper tension unit may be the culprit in that there are loose threads or fluff causing the discs not to tighten enough for embroidery. The best solution is to have it serviced by an authorized husqvarna viking dealer. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com
Good luck.

Designer 1 Problem

Try touching around the button on the screen.  Touch above, below, left & right moving farther away from center. At some point it may clear. If so, use the same method to calibrate your touch screen in the "set" menu.  If not, go back to your repair facility and have them recalibrate in the service mode.

Designer 1 touch screen freezes

Static Electricity and Designer 1:
The designer 1 is susceptible to static electricity. They sell static removers for electronics. Try that 1st. Don’t spray your machine, just the rag and wipe the machine. Endust for electronics makes a pump spray and you can even use it on the screen (DONT spray the screen). Then try to recalibrate the screen in the set menu. If you can’t get into the set menu keep trying until you can otherwise, there is a way to get into the service mode to set it.
