Question about Garmin Nuvi 760 Handheld GPS Receiver
Hey there, I am not sure where you are located or what your outside temperature is but unfortunately the GPS unit that is made for a car is not made to be left in a car. You cannot leave it in cold or hot conditions or it will fail. There should be a temperature rating in the instruction manual somewhere to check. If this is not the case let me know, if it is, believe me you are not the first to leave a car accessory (GPS) in a car when it is not (should be) designed to be.
