SOURCE: refrigerator side not sealing tightly when shut.

Sounds like you may need a new magnetic seal. It is worth the money to fix it, saving electric and your food items.

SOURCE: refrigerator door is hitting the

Hi,
There are 3 screws to the top hinge above each door, if you have a cover on it there is one addition screw to that. Loosen all 6 screws (do not remove them) this will allow you to adjust the doors the tighten back up when done. This should solve your issue you have.
Good Luck

If you had a model number (on a sticker inside the fridge), there's probably a manual online that tells how to adjust the door.

Chrysler sebring trunk lock wont latch and stay shut and locked

On the Sebring, there is a small switch on the trunk where it latches. Right in the middle, there is a small button you can push, which will allow the trunk door to shut. It just needs reset. Right where it goes down to lock at.

I have a maytag upright freezer. It is on the coldest setting. A bowl of water on the bottom shelf freezes overnight. The middle one is freezing, but not entirely. The top one is still water, but cold....

check to make sure door seals are touching the frame all round, could be an air leak, also make sure there is no ice build up around the inside casing. if so fully defrost unit, clean all vents/drain pipe, then turn back on and leave it for 24hrs (freezers work beast when full).....and door shut..how many times have you closed door after them????

Top & middle shelves COVERED with frost/ice, not middle

That is normal. The refrigerant runs through those shelves. They are the evaporator side of the unit. That is where the freezing effect comes from.
Check door seals for leaking air.
Keep door openings to a minimum.
Get in there and get out.
Those things will help prolong frost/ice buildup.

Upright freezer door won't stay shut

the door maybe disaligned. Look at the the door side on to see if it has dropped a little. It may just need adjusting.

Frigidaire upright freezer door will not open. Seems to be stuck shut! I do not have a locking mechanism on it.

no majic to it - just held by a partial vacuum inside. push a small rounded stick thro the seal where it touches cabinet to release the vacuum

French doors

There is a drain in the bottom of the box to allow water to run out into the pan under the unit. Sounds like it is plugged up causing air pressure to be able to build when you shut either door.
