Fuji J20- Cannot Upload!

Nothing happens when I connect up my camera to my computer! I've tried it on two different computers and I've tried using different cords. I connect the computer to the camera and nothing happens at all, but I've uploaded photos onto this camera before so I don't understand why its stopped working!

In order to download photos to your PC or laptop, you have to install the drivers for your camera. Please follow these steps.

1- Use the CD which came with your camera and install the drivers. If you do not have your CD, go to fuji website and download it.

http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital/download/01/index.html

2- After installing the drivers, connect your camera to your computer and on the dial select play and turn the camera on.

3- If the drivers are installed correctely, when you click start, computer you would see an icon with all or part of Fuji FinePix J10 Digital. Double click on this icon. You would see one or more folders which contain the stored pictures or videos. Now you are able to download, copy delete the stored pictures in your camera.

Try putting the memory card in a USB card reader attached to your computer, which should see it as another drive. Write-protect the card first.

My computer is not showing when my camera is plugged in

Make sure the camera is turned on, plug the USB cable into your PC first, then into the camera, wait for a beep from your PC to show it has recognized the hookup, then go to "My Computer" and look for the Fuji icon. Don't unplug the camera anytime the lights are flashing on it.

By using the supplied USB cable, you should be able to drag the images from the camera into your computer. Connect the camera to the computer and open "My Computer". Turn on the camera power. You should soon find an icon which says Fuji Finepix camera (or words to that effect). Open that icon and you should find folders containing more folders, and ultimately, your images. You can then copy/paste, or drag & drop them to your computer.
