If your Haier HRF15N3AGS refrigerator's electronic door panel is beeping and switching back and forth between 0 degrees and 37 degrees after the fridge door is opened, there could be a few different issues causing the problem. Here are a few things you can try to fix it:

  1. Check the door switch: Make sure the door switch is properly aligned and not damaged. The door switch is responsible for detecting when the door is open or closed and can cause the panel to malfunction if it is not working properly.
  2. Check the sensor: Make sure the temperature sensor is properly placed and not damaged. The sensor is responsible for detecting the temperature inside the refrigerator and can cause the panel to malfunction if it is not working properly.
  3. Check the control board: If the above steps do not resolve the problem, the control board may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
  4. Check the power supply: Make sure the fridge is properly plugged in and that the outlet has power.
  5. Check the settings: Make sure the temperature settings are correct and not accidentally changed.
If you are not familiar with any of these steps or if the problem persists after trying these solutions, it's best to contact the manufacturer or a professional for further assistance.

the thermistor is most likely bad. you would have to take an ohm reading of the thermistor and check the tech sheet to see if it is in range. The thermistor is $50 to $75 part.

SOURCE: refridgerator beeps and upper section not working

First, the Samsung Refrigerator is the only fridge that has one compressor, but two different evaporators to operate the freezer and the refrigerator separately. Thus, you can have the bottom freezer working fine, while the fridge part will not.
The reason your fridge is not working is probably a faulty door switch in the refrigerator. The switch is malfunctioning, telling the computer that the door is open. Therefore you hear the door alarm go off in intervals, even though the door is actually closed. If the computer registers an open door, it will not pump cool air into the refrigerator, as that would be a waste of energy. All you need to do is replace the door switch. Until you get a new one, you can temporarily fix your fridge by simply removing the old switch altogether. You will not have any light in the fridge, however, it will cool again just fine until you are able to install the new switch (a simple plug-in contraption, by the way).
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: E522BLMFD model refrigerator door alarm

The door switch has 3 terminals and wires on it. Jumper the wire that does NOT turn on the light to the wire that is on C of the door switch. If you look at the switch it will have one wire distant from the other 2.... that wire is the power wire "C". You jumper that to the wire that would be attached to the "NO" terminal. After you jumper the wire... and TAPE IT with electrical tape the door alarm should be silenced and the internal light will NOT work until you replace the switch. Label the remaining wire with masking tape... NC and Actually label all 3 wires as you remove them... C, NC and NO. Just use write that on a strip of masking tape and then put it on like a horseshoe pennant.

You can order a switch from Fisher and Paykel AU. (See number below)
Phone Contact our spare parts team on 1300 650 585

If your not in AU the door switch is very common... call any LOCAL appliance parts source and they should have one.

Samsung rb215abbp won't stop beeping. I recently switched the door from the right side to the left. Now my fridge says 66 degrees but is cold. Light is on only when I unplug and plug it back in.

Fridge keeps beeping or buzzing: The following is for Frigidaire models but others can be addressed similarly.

Several Frigidaire refrigerator models have an electronic control panel on the freezer door the owner can use to adjust the internal temperature, dispense ice and water and receive notification about issues such as the need to replace a water filter. The refrigerators also emit a beep for various actions and as an occasional alarm. Determining what causes the beeps necessitates some troubleshooting.
Temperature Controls ·A Frigidaire refrigerator's display panel blinks when the control panel is touched to set temperature controls. After pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, press the arrow buttons within five seconds to increase or decrease the desired temperature. If you do not press the arrow buttons within five seconds after pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, the refrigerator beeps to indicate the current setting will stay in place.

Door Open ·When you leave the refrigerator or freezer door open, the refrigerator beeps. Also, the "Door Ajar" indicator illuminates on the appliance's display panel. Shutting the door and pressing "Alarm Reset" stops the beeping and turns off the "Door Ajar" indicator light.
·The Frigidaire refrigerator has a control lock feature that prevents use of its control panel or dispensers when the unit is locked. When the control lock is active, a beep sounds when a keypad or dispenser is pressed. Release the control lock by pressing the "Control Lock" icon for three seconds. A beep will sound, and the icon's light will go out.
Power Reset ·A power reset is occasionally necessary if the Frigidaire refrigerator's control panel does not work normally or a reset function on the keypad does not work. A power reset involves disconnecting power to the refrigerator by unplugging its power cord from the electrical outlet, waiting 30 seconds and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet. When the control panel resets, a beep sounds. If the refrigerator beeps even after a power reset and the beeps' source is not known, contact Frigidaire.

For the past couple of weeks, the freezer will loose its cool enough to thaw or partially thaw what is in it, but two or three hours later it will be frozen again. Keeps going back and forth. Ideas?

possible problem thermostat or freezer setting to close to one setting
reset to a bigger number as the numbers work opposite to the fridge settings ( 1 is close to 0 degrees and 20 is -20 degrees ) where as in a fridge 1 is close to 0 degrees and 5 is + 5 degrees above 0

Left door of F/P fridge part for a week. Now red light is flashing, beep stopped but fridge not cold enough.

Hello Jennifer;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.

No. Your problem is not defrost.

The normal temperature setting for a freezer is -2 to +2 degrees F. or -18.8 to -16.7 degrees C. The fresh food section should be set at 35-40 Degrees F. or 1.6 to 4.4 degrees C.

Reset your temperature controls to the recommended settings.
Up plug your unit for 10 minute to power down. Plug your refrigerator in.

What should the temperature inside the refrigerator be, I have it set at 37

On the fresh food side you have it set at the proper temperature. Most thermostats have a scale from 1 to 7 or 9. If you set the thermostat at 5 this equates to about 37 degrees. Thermostat do lose sensitivity after a while and need to be replaces. The switch inside the thermostat wears out and the sensing bulb sometimes loses the fluid inside the sensor and the thermostat stops controlling temperature. So sounds like you have it set properly.

I am trying to return the freezer and refrugerator settings to 37 and 0 , how do I do that?

There is a dial or button pad inside the fridge that controls the temperature up or down.
some displays are not so clear so just adjust your fridge slowly either way until you get to the desired temperature

37 degree Fahrenheit = 2.78 degree Celsius
0 degree Celsius = 32 degree Fahrenheit

My refrigerator freezer is at 0 degrees. refrigerator is at 48 degrees. emptied it, cleaned underneath and it isn't cooling down. Kenmore 253-44383407. Isn't there just one compressor? fan at rear of...

Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it to run. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp.
The problem could be the electronic control if you have one or the mechanical linkages.

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

two reasons I can think of, fan motor because of the whining description you descibed, and possible freon leak. I think the first is the problem!

Kenmore Elite Trio

How to remove the speaker from a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator.
Our Kenmore Elite fridge has been beeping since we bought our house 9 months ago. There's nothing apparently wrong with it, the filters have been replaced etc. Sears said it would be a minimum of $300 to replace the electric panel (and my thought was that whatever is causing it could happen again!). We were ready to buy a new fridge.
Tools:  thin spatula or hand held flat razor (for scraping paint) flat screwdriver  soldering iron
I pried open the water dispenser with a razor thin spatula (i began with just my hands). the electronics then turned off. When the dispenser came completely off an electronic board dangled down.
On the board is the word 'buzzer' with two soldered points, underneath was a round black object, obviously the speaker. My husband and decided that if we pried the speaker off with just a screw driver, it may break the whole board. So we got out the soldering iron and one at a time, heated both soldering points labeled "buzzer." As each heated we used the screwdriver to pry the speaker off the board.
The speaker gently slipped off the board into our hands. We placed the board back in its place and snapped the water dispenser cover back into place. The whole thing took 2 minutes. The electronic lights all came back on the dispenser. Everything works perfectly. There's one less beep in our house!
