The wireless switch is on the front bottom of the laptop. It should be blue when ON and red when OFF

HP Pavilion Dv6910us Entertainment Notebook Pc will not connect to internet

To connectyour computer to a wireless router, you click the Refresh networklist, then Choose your wireless network and then click Connectto your secured Wireless Network, it will asks for a Network Keybefore allowing you to connect into your wireless network. This NetworkKey is either the WEP, or WPA or WPA2 Encryption key that is used toconfigure the Wireless Router. The Passphrase is an alternate way tosetup the Encryption key.
When you are requested for a Network Key, you can just enter the Passphrasethat was used to configure the Encryption key in the wireless router.http://www.fixya.com/support/r5270415-network_password_network_addressFor information on securing your wireless network, configuring the wireless router and configuring the wireless card in thelaptop/computer, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

I have a hp pavilion dv6 and need to turn my wireless connectivity on

Go to control panel and click on device manager, scroll down to network adapters and find your wireless adapter. Once found right click on your wireless adapter and see if there is an error found usually you will see an attention mark yellow if there is an issue with the network whether its a driver or not. If it is a driver right click on the network adapter and click update driver.
If the computer has the best network driver for the hardware, right click on the wireless adaper once again and uninstall, restart your computer. Once restarted your computer should recognize your wireless adapter and you should be able to access the internet.
If unable to access the internet check the connections to your router and modem, if that doesnt work your will have to refer to your manufactor due to a bad network adapter/

Wireless light doesnt turn blue when switched into position. There seems to no longer by wifi on laptop any more. Is there a fix?

When the switch is in position go to Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> and then Network and Sharing Center. There make sure that your wireless controller is not turned off or that you aren't connecting to a wireless network.

How to enable wireless for HP Pavilion ze4900?

Look at your laptop in the lower right hand corner on the front edge. The blue light. Just below the light is a toggle button (wireless radio switch). You should see a wireless symbol on it. Press it to turn ON and/or Press to turn OFF. See photo attached7_22_2012_5_01_02_pm.png

Where do you find a wireless card for this laptop?

It should have built-in wireless. Is there a wireless on/off switch on the right front of the case? Is there a wireless light indicator?
If your wireless switch is off, you won't be able to connect.
You can go to the device manager and look at the network devices to see if a wireless device is installed. If so, you'll just need to turn it on.
If you don't have one, you'll need to install a wireless card.

Wireless network card

Hi there.
The wireless switch on the front bottom of the laptop, it's suppose to be blue when the button is on the right.
Right click on computer and select manage, go to device manager, and go to Network Adapters, try to see a network adapter called Broadcom, if it doesn't appear, it means that your computer doesn't recognize the wireless card and you may have to reinstall the drivers.
Please let me know how you get on.

Good luck
