SOURCE: LG WM2277HS - water backing up into soap dispenser

The pipe from the soap dispenser to the tub is quite large, it seems as if the water isn't getting out of the dispenser quick enough. Pull the whole dispenser out of the machine. There is a release clip at the back of the cup with the tray fully open. Clean out all soap residue and scum. Sometimes there is also a spot or setting for liquid or powder detergent. Adjust accordingly. Reassemble and try it again.

Hi, I have a LG Tromm WD-14331AD. At the start of the wash cycle, water will dispense, but not a lot. When spinning, there is hardly any water in the drum and water just stops dispensing.

A front loader only uses a very small amt of water. That's the point of front loaders. Make sure u only use a very small amt of detergent also. And use white vinegar in place of fabric softener. If washer is slow to fill you can check the filters in the supply lines. Take the water lines off the back of the washer and check the filters in the washer

IE error code

If the water is connected and the tap is open and the machine does not allow water into the drum then you need to check the solenoid valve for secure wires and or replace the valve.
When the machine is switched on for washing there is a definite click sound when the solenoid opens for introducing the water, if not replace the valve.

Water drains into soap dispenser; how do you prevent this? Mildew smell!

Most home improvement stores sell a washing maching cleaner product - try this or simply run the machine on the longest cycle with 2 cups of bleach added directly to the drum to eliminate the smells. Also check around the seals on the door and drum - lint and small items can collect there and mildew. For the drain problem, ensure that you washer is level or slightly leaning back ( no more than just slightly) and this could fix the problem. If not that, the pathway from the dispenser to the drum could be clogged with dried soap - try flushing it with very hot water while it is open for at least 20 mins. Fill it up, wait to drain, and do it again. You can also remove the soap dispenser tray to clean and take a look behind it with a flashlight - refer to the manual for specifics on how to remove the tray. Good luck!

Bleach and Fabric Dispenser not working

Got a Brand new LG ~ WT5001CW toploader today. I did 2 loads of wash. Theres a Bleach Dispenser on the top left side but I didn't use it. In the middle of my 2nd wash I noticed the bleach dispenser was full of water. I thought well maybe after the rinse and the spin it would take the water out. Well when the cycle was complete the Bleach Dispenser was still full of water.
I took the Bleach dispenser out and checked the holes to see if anything was plugged, didn't look like it. Was wondering if anyone knew how to solve this problem or do you think that since I took the bleach dispenser out and put it back it that it might work for my next load ??
Any opinions will be greatly appreciated !! Thanks Much !!

Water and soap remains in the soap tray

You need to check for blockage in dispenser, remove completely and thoroughly clean every part of it.
Other possibility is not enough water pressure to take all powder down, check water pressure, filters in hoses if fitted..
Check hose from dispenser to drum for restriction.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

I have a lg wm2277hw agitator problem

I had this happen on mine, and it was the valve that dispenses the water into the drum. I wasn't getting any water into the drum because the dispensing valve/solenoid was not working. I've had to replace it 3 times in the past 5 years though.

He2 leaking from detergent dispensor

Plug off the wall, etc. Remove the rear cover. There is a thin tube coming from the control panel area to the base where the water exits, this should not be blocked, remove from top and blow to check, refit. Next clean out your outlet filter, it could be clogged, refit. This tube controls the water level. Another thing that could be the problem: Try to take the top of the machine off; there are three tubes coming into the dispenser box, these may hv come loose or something. Connect well.
