No disply of my motherboard plzz help mee.

Good day sir/maam, hi, if your motherboard wont turn on, you need to make sure that these 5 things are in good order. (By the way, disconnect everything except these listed 5.)
  1. (PC is on) Your power supply, make sure that the exhaust fan is spinning as you turn it on.
  2. (PC is off) Your memory module, (ddr1 or ddr2) clean the contacts using an eraser(pencil) the gold plate contacts and a clean brush your motherboard memory slot.
  3. connect the casing's pc speaker on the motherboard.
  4. connect a video card, make sure its good. If you are using the motherboard's VGA, dont connect a video card. Temporarily reset the CMOS, use or locate cmos battery jumper setting. usually its 1&2 set the jumper to 2&3, then back to 1&2. connect a good monitor.
  5. Connect a keyboard.
Now power on your PC, check your Keyboard, you should see two sets of lights: first set (NUM LOCK + CAPS LOCK + SCROLL LOCK) then a few seconds the second set (NUM LOCK only). at this point you should hear a beep from the PC speaker.

If not, you may hear 1 long and 3 short beeps. bad video card. OR continous beeps, bad motherboard.

If you did not hear anything, do it all over again several times.

Still not working? replace your motherboard, its bad.

hope this helps.

Sytem Wont Start

Hi suisboy,

This sounds similar to a problem I had with a clients PC. The best way to debug this is to swap out one component at a time and see it it fixes your problem. However, if you can't do this then I'd suggest you try the following in this order.

  1. Remove all cards from the PCI bus leaving only the graphics card in place.
  2. Unplug all drive cables from the motherboard and power from the drives.
  3. Try to boot the motherboard. If successful try this, several time and if you don't have any problems you are okay to proceed.
  4. Enter the BIOS and load load the Default settings.
  5. Enter the BIOS and make it run the system check to fully test the memory.
  6. One by one re-attach your drives, if the system is stable continue to add you PCI cards until you hit the problem again. This will be the incompatible or faulty card.
This procedure should allow you to find the component that's causing your bus timing fault.

I hope this will help you diagnose your hardware.
