Maytag m6x06f2a like new but doest blow cold air

Make sure the Thermostat is set correctly! The problem with mine was the temp in the house was colder than my A/C lowest thermostat setting.I had my AC temp setting on 66 degrees. The temp in the house was a little lower so the AC didnt kick on just the fan blowing cool air and no compressor working. The next day it was warmer out and the house temp was 79. So when I powered up the AC set at 66 i heard the compressor kick in and the AC worked fine.

Lennox Elite air handler will run cold for a while, then it will blow warm air out until the safety switch is moved, then it will make a noise in the system which sounds like air hissing, then the cold air...

sounds like installer broke on yellow wire between thermostat and condenser. your switch is breaking the 24 volt signal to cobdensor when the internal float is activated. moving the switch is somehow allowing bobber to drop enough to reactivate 24 volt and condenser comes back on. refrigerant starts to recirculate again and thats what your hearing in the lines. the switch prevents evap coil pan from spilling over into your return when the drain is clogged. use a shop vac and clear your drain. i blow it out with compressed nitrigen. after line is clear prime it wuth 32 oz of water.

Lennox air conditioner xc13 occasional hissing sounding like air being forced out of a sprinkler head when water is first turned on. water is also collecting on floor underneath the unit. this is a new...

That hissing sound, if it is on the inside of your home at the furnace then it is probably refrigerant running through the expansion valve. As long as the system is working ok I wouldn't worry too much about it.
The water on the floor indicate a leak in the condensation drain line or pan.

I have a Lennox XC13 Air Conditioner. When it is

You more than likely have a refrigerant problem. When the unit is under/over charged, it will freeze up the lines, a-coil, etc. The blower will seem like it's not pushing that much air anymore because of the ice blocking the air flow. Another possibility is the a-coil, which is on the indoor unit, could be dirty and the dirt and grime blocking the air flow can cause the same effect, you have to take the cover off, then take the small cover on the a-coil off, then you will be able to see, but if the air flow is working correctly at first, then slowing down, your problem would be the refrigerant charge. Hope this helps and good luck!

Why would my heat pump central air blow cold then warm

Sounds to me like you have wiring issues. Need to make sure all your connections are tight, wires are clean and free of bare spots (possibly from rodents chewing them)and your settings on your tstat are correct. Heat pump with back up electric heat.

No cool air some rooms: Lennox G40UH

Sounds like a restriction of air flow. Check you duct work and check for holes or lose duct.

Line to evaporator iced over

I am not exactly sure as to the type of unit you have. If it is a ductless split system (inside unit on the wall, never seen Lennox make one) you could be low on charge, the metering device to drop the refrigerant pressure is in the outdoor unit. If this is a whole house system, you may have a restriction in the outdoor section somewhere. If you look into the unit while it is running, try to find a filterdrier. It is a cylinder soldered into the small line. You can also see exactly where the ice starts, that is where your restriction is. Let me know what you find out.

Electric furnace blows cold air before and after warm air.

It is normal. Your house has to go down a couple more degrees because the heat pump is not working. You can solve this by rewirng you thermostat. Take off the wire that goes to Y and tape off. Then take the wires that are marked w and e or w1 and put the wires to yellow. Do not run ac with it wired like this. If you need more information please post me back
