Put a spark tester on the plug to see if it is getting spark, could be bad coil,if thats good, probably needs carb rebuilt.

Toro personal pace mower not starting

First check the gas. Old gas after only 3 or 4 months of storage will not fire properly. Completely drain the tank and add some fresh gas. Also take the air cleaner off and check the air filter. It is possible you may have tipped the mower to that side while hosing the grass from the underside. The filter could now be plugged with oil and the motor can not breath. Replace the filter if this is the case. And finally, replace the gasket on the back side of the air cleaner plastic housing that attaches to the carburetor. This gasket if defective or dried out can prevent the primer bulb from injecting gas into the carb when you pump it. Its also possible it fell off if you ever removed this cover which is bolted on with 2 screws. Some dealers even go as far as to put 2 gaskets on to get a good prime. If these simple fixes don't work. You also could have sheared the key way when the motor hit something you ran over in your yard. That will require a shop to pull the flywheel and gets a little more involved.

Mower wont start changed plug still wont start checked gas line seemed okay but what is that plastic piece in the line never seen one before

Getting a mower out of its winter slumber takes some time. Start with fresh gas, new oil, and air filter. Sometimes carbs get gummed up(varnisized gas). Donyboy73 on youtube shows how to remove Briggs n Stratton in tank carb systems and clean the parts and passages.

Toro ride on wont start

Battery required? Charge battery or replace. Replace air filter and spark plug. Dump out old oil and replace with 30w oil. Electric start may have a fuse blown. Dump out old gas fill with new with Stabile always added to gas. Try spraying starter spray in carb at air cleaner with filter removed. All mowers have a low oil sensor to prevent starting on low oil. Remove bowl from carb, should be full of gas. Pinch off fuel line with pliers or turn fuel valve off. Check float should be hanging down allowing fuel flow. Float up stops fuel flow.

Toro recycler will run until primed gas is consumed.

The problem is that the gas that sat in the carb all winter glazed it over and gummed it up. Begin by going to any auto parts store, like an aiutozone, and getting a bottle of carb. cleaner. Seafoam is one I use. Add it to your gas, one ounce per gallon of gas. Also, pick up a can of engine starting spray.

Remove the air filter and spray the engine starting spray into the air intake. Pull start the engine and give it additional squirts of engine starting spray until it runs smoothly.

Toro 2 stroke lawn mower won't start

Remove the Carb Bowl and on the bottom of the bowl clean the center of crust gas....

It blocks the gas from getting from the bowl to the inside of the carb.

Caused when gas dry's up in the bowl leaving deposits behind plugging up the works.

Toro 72 lawn mower

try taking the air filter off and spraying some starting fluid in the carburator. This should start the engine for a short period and pull the gas from the tank. I suspect you have an air lock in the line. you could also take the line off the carburator and let the gas flow out.
