-   I have this optical mouse. It has a new battery and a connect button which I pushed. It still does not work on any computer here. It has a red light so I know the battery works-   Guest

Make sure the batteries are good.
Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.

Bud's got it. The buttons on the mouse and usb controller must be pressed at the same time and the mouse held close to the controller for them to sync.
