Hi i have a epson u220b kitchen dispense pritners and they interminnetly dispaly -1 error on the tills and in the logs Checked the drivers are up to date ,and the printer will not health test However it starts to work after a few hours Checked Epson printer errors and there is no diagnosis of the -1 error Any help will be much appreciated

service for that unit - call the manufacturers tech line and they'll give u service center nfo - it it's still under 2 years - repair will be free of charge

I have put a plastic sheet on the printer and obvious the sheet burn around the fuser unit.
I could take out the sheet after unplugging many pieces.
But the Service Req Error E537

Ensure that directory is delete when you uninstall and there mates ie........ /EPSON/......whatevers.
Use a new set of downloaded drivers from elsewhere, not the same ones if you can help it and if you cant it is because they dont really exist, ones that work will be many places....... ensure full compatability to your mac OS, I can't help you much there but I can assure you it isn't a problem with the printer it is a mac/driver issue. Hope thaty helps a little cheers

As far as I know, there is no way to change the font settings in CRE (I hope you mean RPE). But, you may be able to change the default settings in the printer itself to get larger print. I am available for tech help if you need it, but you should have 3 months free support from PCAmerica with the purchase. I also do custom menu support for RPE. [email protected]
