Network host designes the methods that is observed during computer networking. For example, once each computer devices that make networking achieveble were functional, a connection should be attainable. The display process from initiating request to atttain connectivity is dissimar with several network hosts. For example, observe that usually with ICQ programs the message indication at initial stage is :trying to connect: through until becomes :irq.comNot connected: once completed accomplisged networks requested. Observe that is the means to attaining connectivity with ICQ networking. Usually unless that a malfunction were experieces either as hardware or software, the experience is similar to attain connectivity. An alternate network host would have another display message prior until attaining networking. For example, cricket network hosts once requested connectivity displays : signing in, through until initialising, to signed in to a device. What predicts the computer networking experiences either as effectives in speed or related to resources requested is the computer structures. For example, computers that derive network connectivity from ethernet cables or wireless broadband connectivity display an alternate process observable. For example, wireless devices for connectivity onto the network display a signal box that takes moments to display pages. Unless any observable malfunctions were expericned with wireless connectivity to display an allernate expection, the computer displays messages least providing an observation to the user operator of devices.

I have a samsung SGH-A797, im trying to connect to my computer through usb port and im getting nothing, its not picking my phone up at all, How do i fix this.

Assume all three devices require checks explained
1. The computer requires to be in functioning mode with a wireless connectivity that could be shared by additional devices 2.. The connection device like USB cables have been the recommended from computer to phone; always have be specified by vender as having that functionality of data computer to mobile phone 3. The phone should be in functioning mode without defects possible with wireless fucntionality 4. All check in place makes possible the start into a physical connectivity of implements requiring signal recogniton
The procedures of achieving connectivity 0. Shut down all devices before the connectivity is assumed; computers, phones 1. connect the phone end to USB cable properly 2. connect the USB cable reamaining side to the computer 3. power on the phone first 4. power on the computer second 5. the computer on restoring should display any messages requesting further approvals on the most part 6. The computer on the better success of hardware connections would display on the task bar a message icon thatt cell phone has been intergrated into system making possible next procedures to achieve success.
Important notes. 1. the hardware connectivities at which instance is successful once the computer does not prompt malfunction requiring a software alteration/ code drivers for example 2. any computer prompts to install programs could be achieved by acquiring codecs from elshwere int the sitaution of computer defficiency.A computer internet shoud be accessibility to privide repair o software deffects 3. Once the physical codes required by hardswares are satisfactorily acheived that makes way for the networking functionality amonsg several that is possible

Establishing a network between computer and phone checks 1. The computer operating system shoudl be capable to communcating with the phone. For example, elder operating systems did not have built in wireless brousers to send and receive signals by more recent functioning device like with blue tooth technology. 2. A modern computer system acquired of recent functionality should be wireless WII FII enabled as a built in functionality. 3.The phone should be blue tooth compartibel to allow another device siglas be discoverabel within the transmittion area wireless signals
The process of getting the two device into a wireless exchange 1.Enable the bluetooth technolgy functions on the phone 2.Enable the computer netwroking functionality by selecting the feature of allow available networks to communicate with computer 3. Once the computer recogises the signals, couple message combo or prompts should be dispplayed on the screen asking to comfirm foreign network. 4. comfirm if desired and then make the conveniences for exchange of pages or web functionalitities
Once a network has been establshed 1. Browse the web depending on the device providing the signal broadcast like explaned a. the broswering could only take place on one device at a time depending on sigla strength. Choose to use the computer for web

How to use cwa-854 other than bridge mode?I would like to have an internet access point obtained with user name and pasword where i can conetct more than one comp (ip obtained automatically)?

Two aspects have to be considered to establish a network with brideable functions

1. The computer infrustrure have to be built, for example the computers have to be connected to each other by physcal cables to achieve the first steps the the second steps requiring wireless functionality.

2.The wireless devices like modems transfer signals between the two device to communicate otherwise would have communicated by wire connectivty of cables. The wireless device creates a bridge between the two devices also called an access point located on the computer networking area ( open my computer, click system settings and select networking functionality for any alteration purposes)

3.Once each device in the connection is ready functioning, the access point becomes visible message that could be manipulted by the computer administrator.

4. Clicking on the system networking settings will allow customisable features explanable

a. The network area would have the option of creating passwords to every device for reasons of that each device on the network is a separate entity only possible to achieve connectivey by another device providing wireless capability.

b. manipulate the wireless features that would only be displayed after each gadget on the infrastructure has been phically connected with wires amongs one another and to power supply in which instance to be powered on.

c. the modem once powered on should recognise an available computer physical establishment because wireless chips are embeded in every entity of the setup.

d. The computer display of message about wireless signal recognistion is then manipulated to suit the administrators specifications explanable.

1. A user name and password are established for reasons of contolling access to the connection of several devices

2. The device could function without passwords and username only becomes available to every demander making possible connectivty so several untilities and infructure.

Important notes

1. Your computer set up of networks are a network that when capable of communicating elswhere with additional networks insfrustures together is an internet.
2. Rememer to setup your newkwork properly or esle access could not be made into another network and vise versa.

3. If you set up any passwords and user names in the process of establishing a network,, other persons requiring connectivety woudld requrre what is called Codes in computer temnology to acess the network. whenever the passwors are lost would compromise your acess to the link of wireless signals as well.

If you are trying to connect to the wireless network, then first you should know all the wireless settings of the router ( SSID , Security key or password).

If you don't the wireless settings of the router , then you will need to access the router set up interface.
On the set up page of the router you will be able to find the wireless settings of the router.
Once you have the wireless settings of the router then you just need to connect to the wireless network on your computer.

For Windows XP -

In case of windows XP computer you will find the wireless network connection Icon In the bottom right hand corner. right click on it and go to the option " View available networks ". You will be able to see your wireless network. If you do not seethe icon there , then try START ==> Control panel==> network connection. You will find the wireless network connection option.right click and go to " View available networks ".

If you get the message " Windows can not configure this wireless network " , then there is another software utility on your computer which is managing your wireless network. You will need to use that utility to connect to the wireless network. Suppose you have Linksys adapter on your computer , then there must be Linksys utility on your computer which can connect you to the wireless network. if you are not able to connect using that utility then you can switch over to the Windows Utility.

If you get the message " NO wireless networks are found in the range " , Make sure that the wireless switch on your laptop is turned ON. On the laptops there might be a wireless Switch that you will need to turn on. On Some laptops the wireless switch may be the combination of Fn + F2 Or Fn + F5 Or may be different than that. Once you turn on the wireless switch you will be able to connect to the network.

If you seethe wireless network and you tried to connect to the wireless network , some times you will get the message " Waiting for the network to be ready ". That means you might have tried to connect to this network before with different wireless settings . In this case you will need to remove the network from the preferred networks and try to connect again.

WINDOWS VISTA/ Windows 7

In case of windows You will find 2 computer icon in the bottom right hand corner.Right click on it and go to the option " Network and Sharing center ". Once you open the network and sharing center you will find the option " connect to the network " in the top left hand side. Click On connect to the network and you will see the wireless network that you want to connect. If it secured network then type the network key or passphrase and you will be able to connect.
If you get the message " additional log on information required " then you will need to add the wireless network manually.
If you get the message " settings saved on this computer do not match ..." then you will need to remove the network from the preferred network list. Try to connect again.
If you get the message " Press the configuration button ..." , On the same window at the bottom you will find the option " I want to enter the key manually " or " I don't want to configure the network ..." Click On it and it will ask you for the key.
If you see " Enter PIN number " , then at the bottom you will find the option " I want to enter the key manually " or " I don't want to configure the network ..." Click On it and it will ask you for the key.

For MAC OS

In case of MAC OS, you will find the AIRPORT icon the right hand top corner. If you click On it, it will try to connect to the wireless network. If you network is secured then it will ask you for the wireless network key or password. type the key and it will connect you to the network.
If you get the message " error joining the network " and if the wireless security type is WEP, then try to connect to the wireless network again. It will ask you for the network key / password again. Now this time enter $ sign before entering the network key . It will connect you.

Unable to connect to wireless network

check your network IP and put one in the same classe of the wireless network. For example if you router IP is 10.0.0.254/255.0.0.0 then you must configure your IP like: 10.0.0.1/255.0.0.0 (instead of "1" you can choose a number between 1 and 253)

Help

check if you are getting a valid ip address (e.g. 192.168.1.x for linksys routers, not unless you changed the router's ip to something else) from your router. if so, try to disable any anti-virus software and firewall installed on your computer. if not, make sure that you are really connected to the wireless signal of the router. one common error message that'll let you know that you are not properly connected to the signal is "limited or no connectivity". if you're getting that message, try to disconnect and reconnect to your wireless signal and make sure that you are using the correct wireless security (network key) if you have enabled that on your router. it's also advisable to customized the wireless settings of your router to prevent interference from other wireless networks.
hope this'll help.

Adapter see the network but don't connect. No error messages

Hmm... well, generally USB 2 devices are backwards compatible, so you should be ok there. I would suggest that you start with checking the network settings on all of the devices. My guess is that you have the devices on different subnets. I found a procedure on the subject that can walk you through the process of checking the network settings on your computers too... http://us4.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/ClientConfig.html. Make sure that each of them are set to DHCP so that the router can automagically assign the right addresses. You may also need to look at the router configuration to ensure that wireless is enabled and that the settings match... like Wireless Encryption (WEP) keys, etc. If that doesn't solve your problem, let us know and we can go deeper into diagnostics.
