I cannot install, from ASUS Motherboard CD, Audio driver after upgrading system from WinXP to Win7 Ultimate.

After upgrading the Operating System from XP to Windows 7, you can not use the Drivers CD for XP. Click here to visit ASUS Official site and follow these steps to download the Audio Drivers for Windows 7: -

1. Select Product - Motherboard
2. Select Series - (Select Socket depending upon your motherboard model - Socket can be known by searching google for motherboard model)
3. Select Model -
and click search, it would ask you for operating system
4. Select operating system and download drivers

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Good Luck!
Dont forget to appreciate the solution if I could have been of any help!

Sir i want to window xp sound driver free download

In most cases your sound drive would be free from the manufacture of the card.

If you are having trouble finding it let me know the make and model of sound card you have. Note if it is intergrated on your motherboard let me know the make and model of motherboard you have.

I have formated my harddrive & i do not have the motherboard drivers, now i have no sound I am running on windows XP the motherboard is (ASUS P4S8x.x)when i try to install the Audio driver from your...

When you say you installed the "Audio driver from your site" do you mean from They provide that driver for free.

If you download that, click on the install.exe and nothing happens, then open Device Manager, right-click on the audio icon that has no driver, select "update driver" then browse to the W2K_XP folder with the driver you downloaded. That should do it.
