When i was playing halo 3 online my t.v. screen turn to a green tint color and the graphic were greenish too but you could still see. So I turn it off when i turn it back on the screen was black with really small dot it lines running cross the screen, but i could still hear the sound on my T.V. I try everything like unpluging the A/V, and switching T.V.s but nothing work. The only thing i want to know what is the real problem. Is it when i play halo 3 that screw up my 360 or something else. Thanks
same problem while playing halo3, screen gets skewed with green and blue. then when I reboot I get no picture and no sound but the xbox works ( freinds can see I am online). thought it was the cable so I replaced it but get the same problem after playing for about 10 minutes. what is the towel trick?
While playing Smackdown Vs Raw it went black with sound. I tried the towel trick and I got the 360 to work for a day. Now every other day when i want to play I have to over heat the machine then restart it and it works for the next 24. I am putting mine in the shop and enjoy my problem free WII for a while.
There is no problem with the TV, input, output or the game. There is something fundamentally wrong with the hardware. I also had this happen directly after the towel trick. There seems to be a direct correlation between the two.

This has happened to me also. I realized that i had put the wrong component cable in the wrong slot. Try moving them around and putting them in the right ports or just use HDMI.
