Soak the reservoir with half vinegar and half water over night. This will clean up calcium and lime deposits. Also, straighten a paper clip and insert in the holes where the steam comes out. For future advances, aleays pour the wster out and let air dry. I keep my lid off of mine when not in use. I just put it in a ziploc bag and attach it to my steam mop.

SOURCE: shark steam mop

I had the same prob and found this site off google looking for the solution.

I went back to my shark and took out all the screws, some don't feel like they were coming out but it came apart. Take a pair of pliers and release the spring clip holding the hose to the heat nozzle. Then pull off the hose. Then take a paper clip, unkink it so it's sort of straight with a curve to go into the hole . Shove it in and out to clean out the hole. I got my fingers blasted with residual steam so you should let it cool first. But I think the steam bursting out helped clean out the hole. Don't throw it away till after you try that..It worked great after that. All the best, Satch

SOURCE: bissel steam mop - no more steam

You have to open up the cleaner, disconnect the pump from the steam chamber you then have to put it in a vise and remove the brass hose fitting on each end. Clean the springs and chambers but the main thing is a channel that joins the two chambers has to be cleaned out.

My Euro-Pro Shark Steam Mop will not steam. The light comes on, the tank gets hot, but it will not steam. Could it be clogged, and, if so, how can I unclog it?

I have a shark steam mop s3202 and it seems to be clogged - no steam. I hear if you put white vinegar in it it should help unclog it. Are you suppose to let it sit awhile. Should it be plugged in?
