Need to sync my controller to player 1 instead of 2
Playing a game , set up my profile and it automatically set up default on controller 1. my controller is set on 2, it is the only controller i have...how do i get it to sync up on 1?
Re: need to sync my controller to player 1 instead of 2
I would turn off the system then turn the system back on by holding down the X-box Guide Button or the Start Button. That should set that controller as player 1

Hi try this method and see if it helps To reset the display settings of the Xbox 360 console to the default settings, follow these steps:
Remove any discs from the disc tray.
Turn the console off.
Turn the console on. Note If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, turn the console on by using the Xbox Guide
button on the controller. Make sure that you use the player 1
controller when you do this. The player 1 controller will have the
upper-left quadrant light illuminated.
As the console starts, press and hold the Y button, and then pull the right trigger at the same time.
The Xbox Dashboard resets the display settings to the default settings, and then automatically restarts the console.

I had this problem and it was down to be, me plugging the motion plus into the wrong controller.
I have one control with intergrated motion plus and the other uses a
plug on motion plus. I accidently plugged the plug on one into the
already intergrated control leaving the one control with nothing. Hence
that control could not be recognised.
Hope this helps

Most latest games for PC do not support Logitech gamepads by default. There are various reasons to it, but using Logitech's Profiler software you can get your gamepad to work with any game. I help people make "profiles" for their games. All you have to do is download them, read the instructions and start playing. I ve already made one for Modern Warfare 2.... here's the download link:

To sync games automatically to iPod nano, connect your iPod to your computer. Then...
1) In iTunes, select iPod nano in the source list and click the Games tab. 2) Select “Sync games.” 3) Click “All games” or “Selected games.” If you click “Selected games,” also select the games you want to sync. 4) Click Apply.
It could be the settings for that persons profile. With the 360, you
can set certain options in your gamer profile that are automatically
applied to games they play. You could try looking at that and seeing if
they accidentally had it set to turn the brightness up.
*****Sorry about the Clarification Request, it was set on the wrong one.
Are you sure that in the system settings the xbox is set to Load game instead of boot to dashboard? This will be located on the blade on the far right of the dashboard. If no help, try this:
First, a stupid step - Make sure a compatible game disc is in the xbox, and turn it off. If it continues to boot to dashboard upon powering up, you could always try removing the system updates by:
1. Turn the console off
2. Press and hold the small sync button on the front of the console (the one you use to connect new controllers)
3. Turn on the console whilst still holding the sync button
4. By the time it has booted to the dashboard, the updates should be cleared.
As the first version of the dashboard did not have the option to boot to dashboard by default, game discs should start normally now. If this is the case, feel free to re-download the updates from xbox live.
Hope this helps!
