The answer to you question is - yes..

There are many ac repair companies that will come out 24/7..

Just do a Google search - type in air condition repair & your zip code

Several will come up in your area..

Also - that what ever the charge is - you might consider back-charging the lawn service company to recover your costs for the repair..

The "little brown wire" is the thermostat wire. If you look carefully at the wire you will see that there is a red wire, a black wire and a white wire.

Inside your outdoor AC unit you will see where the wire was connected to a block where the screw labeled B gets the black wire, W gets the white wire and Y gets the yellow wire

the thermostat system operates on low voltage so u don't have to worry about shorting it out. if you have the manual go to the wiring diagram and see how to proceed. if you don t have a manual get back with the brand and model of A/C you have out doors.

Im hooking my pool pump up to a 220 and I dont know what wires go where. On the motor there is a A and B and a L1 and L2. What do I put my brown wire on and what does the white one go on. Can u help me...

There should be a diagram on the side of the motor showing you where to put the brown and white for 110/220 volt operation. Most new motors of this size are shipped strapped for 220v. The two hot wires will go to L1 and L2 and it doesn't matter which wire goes to which lug. For 220v you will usually have 2 black or 2 red wires and a green ground wire. If it is 110v supply, you will usually have a white and a black wire, and a green for ground. Hope this helps. Since you said you are hooking to 220v the brown and white should be on the correct lugs if this is a new motor.

Cannot restart after power outage

SAVE YOURSELF $800 by reading this.

Well guess what...?
We were gone for the weekend and came home and our superba was on but not cooling. Prayed about it . (always the first solution) then I looked on this web site, it said compressors go out on this model. Then went down to our local appliance guy who is actually honest. He said I was about the 5th person that day. He said there was a power surge. HERE IS THE KEY.... Apparently there is a surge protector on the compressor that fries in order to protect it. DING DING DING The compressor is not shot but a little 40 dollar part that you can replace easily. ( im an idiot and it took me 5 minutes when I got the part.
Im not responsible for you doing this but I will tell you what I did. FIRST I unplugged the fridge! Then pulled it out from the wall so i could get behind it. Then at the bottom is a card board cover. It comes off with screws. You dont even have to take it all off just the left side and pull it back. Then right there you will see a compressor ( it looks like a litte tank with some copper tubes going to it and , connected to the compressor is this little plastic cover, box sort of thing. Has some wires coming out of it. The directions on how to remove this cover is facing the side of the fridge IMPOSSIBLE to read because you cant see it because the angle is to the side not facing you.

Now go into your kids room and grab some playdoh or clay or silly puddy, flatten it out and spread it and press it over the diagram directions pull it off and look at the impression of the diagram it will be backwards but it gave me enough of an idea to get it off. Break this plastic cover if need be it is worth it to get to the part you need.

Once off you will see this little white part and little brown part with wires going to it. DO NOT PANIC! this is easier than you think. trust me . Okay go grab a digital camera try to get a couple picts of how it is sitting in there. ( not a big deal but we will want to take a pict of it once you pull it out)
Okay there are only 3 wires connected to those things. You dont have to know what they are for just WHAT CLIPS THEY ARE CONNECTED TO. So these brown and white things are not connected they just sit on top of each other so do be confused. These things have little holes in them like an electrical outlet ( but they are round not flat) these brown and white things are plugged into the compressor.
NOW Still do not panic. START With the brown one. You will need to pry these off the pins off the compressor like you are unplugging an cord. it will be tough to pull off. See if you can get a flat screw driver and pry it carefully away. You may need strong fingers. Remember this will save you atleast 300 bucks that sears will charge for just coming to your house.
Once it comes off do not pull off the wires. Take pictures of how the wires fit onto it. Also mark on the piece itself where the colored wires fit on which little connector. shake the little brown piece around does it jingle? It is not supposed to you found the problem! DO NOT PANIC Rejoice! Apparently there is a little disk in there that will shatter when there is a power surge.

Then pull off the white one also take pictures mark what wires goe where on that little part. Okay now grab some pliers and firmly grip the wire slide connector end and pull off the wires from their slide parts on the brown and white thingy. Congrats you are 80 % done.

Take a digital picture of the lable of the compressor so if you need it for reference. Find your local appliance parts place and take your model number with you just incase they dont know what they are talking about. I bought my little brown and white parts for 40 bucks for both. SAVE your old parts so incase they do not look exactly alike you can see how they go back together.BEFORE you leave the appliance store pick up a little refidgerator lint brush, they have them for 8 - 10 bucks. Trust me on getting this.

Now go home, Reattach the wires they way they did on the old parts. ( DO NOT REINSTALL OLD PARTS) Put the white one back on the little plugger first then the brown one on top.

Good as long as you got the wires in the right place and the pieces firmly seated you should be done BUT WAIT. Look in the bottom of the fridge behind the compressor. See all those tiny black tubes covered in hair and dust bunnies? You got to clean that. Get that brush I told you about. Grab your vaccuum hose and put it under those coils and carefully push and brush all that gunk off into the vaccuum. this will make your compressor last years longer and save on electricity. try to clean it every day light savings time.

Okay plug in your fridge. It should begin cooling again. Remember it takes a while to cool all that food again. If you want to check put a thermometer in it and see if it is cooling enough.

SEE now if this worked, Go and spend $ 400 bucks on a nice weekend somewhere because you would have had to replace it with a decent fridge and you will remember a nice weekend 20 years from now not saving 800 bucks on a fridge repair.

Best to you all

Replacing blower motor in furnace w/Fasco brand #D727

Some one missed the wiring diagram. I believe its like this:
L1 = Line 1 = (Hot all are same thing)
Black Hi
Blue Med
Red LO
Now usually the black is for AC and connects to a normally Open (NO) contact on the blower relay.
The heater speed (either red or blue) go the the normally Closed (NC) on the blower relay and on one side of this wire or contact on the relay it goes to the heating blower thermostat on the furnace.
The remaining wire (blue or red) you tape off.
L1 also feeds the Run Capacitor on 1 side and the Brown wire feeds the opposite side

The white wire is Neutral and goes to the neutral on the main line.

If this helps you please rate me accordingly and good luck.
