Red light blinking 4 times in sony projector VPL-EX7

If it blinks with 2 flashes, it's overheated. Check the filter unit.
If it blinks with 4 flashes, a fan is not working properly. see if any fan is not turning on, and check why.
If it blinks with 6 flashes, it's a system internal failure.

You can switch to anexternal monitor by two methods. 1. Connect the externalmonitor to the laptop's video port, power up the external monitor first and thelaptop. The video information will automatically switch to the externalmonitor. 2.
