Try replacing the batteries or if it has rechargeable batteries, try removing and replacing them. Also clean the red lens on the bottom of the mouse with a cotton swab. Good luck!

I also have such a mouse. when you stop a few minutes about 3 minute, mouse does not move

some models of mouse that have their own power source will automatically turn off after a preset time to save power. Clicking the mouse button should 'wake it up' again

Targus wireless mouse stopped working model amw05ca. When I reset it may work for a minute than stop again

This may be a "duh", BUT, have you checked the battery of the mouse? You can either test the battery with a mutlimeter for its charge, and most likely, it would be gone, or simply replace the battery.

Microsoft Wireless Mouse and Windows Vista

I'm having pretty much the same problem with my Microsoft Wireless 4000 mouse and my hp-compaq 8510p laptop. If I shut my machine down, or restart, my mouse no longer works. I have to uninstall/reinstall the Intellipoint software. The synaptics touch pad continues to work, but the mouse fails.
