Change your power code .
Also try with other power outlet some times voltage fluctuation create this problem.
If problem still arise then you need to check power supply circuit of printer.

Not much to go on, but if something stops doing it used to do normal before, try to go back in time, to discover if you changed anything.
Also check if the copier is still connected and it is not switched off.
Actually, if you start a copy, it should work, or give a message on the display why it does not work.
Restart the machine and try to copy again. watch if anything is on the display. If nothing lights up, start checking the power outlet and if the power cable is still connected to the machine. Then check if the power switch is working and so on.

Doesn't start

Try doing this steps to your printer:
1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Unplug the all-in-one from power.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Plug in the power cable only.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times.
5. On the third time after plugging the unit into power and check the functionality.

Connect usb port

Check all computer connections and cords. Is the powerstrip for surge protector light indicator bar (usually inside the off/on switch itself) on?
All it takes is a pet to walk over it or a foot to bump a cord and break the power connection. Mine do it all the time. Check the power on/off button on the printer to see if it accidently got powered down.

The printer will not print any documents from any of the computers and its not saying anything under the job status

- if connected via usb ,check cable and usb port
- check in properties if printer status is enabled and use printer with connection or use printer offline is selected

- if connected via ethernet ping the ip adress and check cable
-if connected right on the copier without a switch in between you need a reversed ethernet cable else you need a straight one through the switch

If you are encountering power problems with your printer, please go through the following checklist:

  • Make sure the power cord is plugged in securely and directly to the power outlet. Power surge protectors can draw power away from the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet and the back of the printer and then reconnect it.
  • Check the power supply box (if there is one) to see if it is warm or cold, as there could be a defective power supply issue.
  • If there is access to a voltmeter, test the power supply to ensure that it registering the correct amount of voltage (most Lexmark printers have a 30Volt output).
  • Make sure the correct power supply is connected to the printer.

Printer does not switch on

I dont want to make out you are thick or anything, but going back to basics, have you held the on/off button in for a second or 2, and you are pressing the power buttin, not the resume button? I say that because i made an idiot of myself by pressing the wrong button when it said press the resume button to continue, and after a few attempts I must have looked like a donkey. The pirnter "should" power on automatically when you send something to the printer, so if it's not doing that either, check your USB connection, and make sure you have the drivers up to date, I know these probably sound like no brainers, but you never know, also, you could check the switch pack, it could be faulty, check the wires behind it, 2 plugs.

This is power failure. No need to find out anything what is the problem of your printer. Just send it to anyone very near to you and repair your printer.
I have printer like this and the problem as the same of yours.
No power, no light or even initial to run the printer. My technician says that it's power supply defective due to high voltage electricity.
Or I'm sure also its fuse problem.

I devised these simple steps that tend to remedy quite a few issues with most USB portable / external hard drives, printers, and devices (though not always)

A few things to check but assumes USB and Windows for other interfaces / operating systems similar steps may be adapted to suit.

1. Ensure it is connected directly to the computer to a USB 2.0 port not a USB 1.0 port as this can have effects on performance and reliability

2. Use only the cables that came with it NOT one that fits that may have been lying around or is longer. Not all USB cables are equal even though they should be)

3. Do not connect through an external USB HUB unless that hub is USB 2.0 AND has its own power supply.

4. Use ONLY the power supply that came with it if it has an external power supply Don’t use any other unless you know it has both the same voltage and current rating e.g. 12V 500mA anything rated below that would not work properly.

5. Always use the same port for connecting your devices. Some devices do not like being switched about. If switched they may want to install software / drivers again. This can be especialy true if you move a HUB to another port

If you checked and fixed anything there and still have issues then check your hardware from CONTROL PANEL / SYSTEM / HARDWARE.
Any exclamation marks by hardware need fixing before you investigate any further

can you do a test page to verify if you have a printer or software driver problem...

Press and hold the Cancel button for about 2 seconds.
A demo page prints out.

Make sure that the
Online LED on the
control panel lights
• If the Online LED is off, check the power
cord connection. Check the power switch.
Check the power source by plugging the
power cord into another outlet.
• If a demo page does not print, check the
paper supply in the tray.
Print a short document from a software application to verify that the computer and printer are connected and are communicating correctly.
• If the page does not print, check the cable connection between the printer and the computer.
• Check the print queue or print spooler to see if the printer has been paused.
• Check the software application to ensure
that you are using the proper printer driver
and communication port.
