Question about Black & Decker Vacuums
Well i see you wrote the question a long time ago but here is what I found. I have new carpet and we got a puppy. You know what that means. Anyway a lot of use and the new carpet gave up a lot of fibers. The fibers lodged in the "s" shaped portion of the suction line. You must remove the bottom (just 6 screws) to see this part. I could not figure out how to detatch the hose so i rigged a way to put air pressure though the head end of the hose and gentrly tapped the "s" shaped part with a plastoc mallet, clumps of fibers started to come out, eventually a real big one popped out and the thing was clear. What a pain it was!
