All general questions must have

'make model (what it is)' as the first 3 words.

In the case of vehicles, 'year make model' first three words.

Then there are about 40,000 categories to choose from. You posted to the Category 'Land Phones', perhaps this is the subject of your question (I generally answer those), but Misc or Fixya website would be better.

Then write a clear detailed question with proper sentences and CAPS where needed. Proof read it and press Post Question. Refresh the page to see your question because if you write the question again, you will have two questions and I have to Delete one of them. :>D

Then sit back and wait for an answer. You will get a notification. To reply to an answer, click Comment under that answer. All answers are free, no one here gets paid.

You decide on which Fixya category will best suit your question, eg Cars & Trucks, Computer & Internet, etc....
You post question with detail of appliance, make, model and description of fault.
Fixya readers on the forum will read the question.
If somebody has a solution to your problem, an answer will appear in the same thread, maybe soon, maybe later.

When you post question answering is up to the volunteers who take the time to answer some questions are not answered because of incomplete question some because we don't have an answer and some just because those knowing answer just don't read it. If you do not get answer immediately post again a few hours later. There is also a pay section of the site that you should get immediate answer.
