I've checked and updated my antivirus recently. For your information, i'm using Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 and i have scanned the whole system, but shows no infections. Do i have to remove kaspersky and use COMODO?

You are infected with trojan virus. Check your antivirus for latest update. I suggest you to scan you whole system with COMODO anti virus you can download in the web for free. Comodo will slow down your computer you can uninstall it if your computer is clean and put back your updated antivirus.

In this case it would be best to perform a system restore.
There are two ways to perform system restore:
Open start menu click run and then type cmd to open command prompt.
Type CD.. to make c:\ only.
Type CD windows then CD System32 and then restore.
After once you find yourself in c:\ windows\system32\restore>
Then type restrui.exe press enter.
Once the system restore window open then click next to select any available restore point.
This process shall take couple of minutes to perform restore and please make sure that once this process started it wont be reversible and neither you will lose any personal data.
Other way to perform system restore is to open safe mode by clicking F8 on start-up and check safe mode option then further a dialogue box will open to ask for system restore and then follow the above steps. Thanks

Can not connect to the internet.

That's common in Vista. Click on Start > Find > Files or Folders , type in winsock .
Go to where the file is located via command prompt (start - run and type "cmd" (without the quotes). for example:
if the winsock.dll is located at c:\windows\system32\winsock.dll then type "regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\winsock.dll . If you did this correctly you should get a message saying "winsock.ocx registration successful" or something to that effect.
Restart the computer and hopefully it'll work. If it doesnt please let us know.

In the second step of installing win 7 on aspire 4930 it says expanding windows files this continues till 27% then i get a msg saying your computer could not be prepared to boot into the next phase.plz...

this may be because the setup cannot expand files required for the instalation from the DVD media. Clean you disk for any dust and if there is lot of scratches then you have to change the DVD and try installing windows 7 again. I hope this is helpful to you.

Windows boot manager problem acer aspire 5920

Creating recovery discs After setting up the computer for the first time, be sure to create a set of recovery discs of the full factory image. the recovery discs are used to start up (boot) the computer and recover the operating system and software to factory settings in case of system instability or failure.

Where is the /System32 folder physically located on the drive?

Hi there.
This is the path >>>>>> c:/windows/system32....

So, click on "my computer", you will see "local disk c", click on that, if it says "these folders are hidden" click on "show files". Then click on the "windows" folder, in that folder you will find "system32" folder.

Thanks for choosing FixYa!!
