My keypad works,my remote opener does not, even

My outdoor keypad works,my remote opener does not, even after changing battery AND control panel attached to the wall is rapidly blinking. I checked the sensors and they are free of debris and are alligned. The door functions properly with the wall mounted control pad. The remote stopped working at the same time the wall mounted control pad started blinking. Why is the wall mounted control pad blinking and is this related to the remote opener not functioning?

It is related. One of the buttons on your wall control is the lock button and has a lock icon on it. Press and hold it for 3 seconds. The blinking should stop and your remote should now work.

How do I check a wireless garage door keypad, to see if it is transmitting?

These remotes don't loose the programming code when a battery goes dead, most likely the remote or the board on the opener went bad, do any other remotes work? You can take the remote to an auto parts store and test it there. (They have a tester for key fobs)

Craftsman 1/2 hp opener won't open using the outdoor keypad. It will close when using the outdoor keypad but not open. Wall unit closes and opens it. changed battery in keypad, no difference

If your hand remotes work okay then the keypad has lost signal strength and needs to be replaced. If your hand remotes act the same way then your logic board is bad.

Change battery in GICT390 3 button remote

If its a lighter grey colored intellicode remote: There should be a small slot on the side of the remote. Use a coin such as a dime or a penny, stick it in the slot and twist. The remote should split in half and you'll see the coin-shaped battery. After you replace the battery, you can snap the 2 pieces of the remote back together.

If its a dark grey/black intellicode remote: The back cover should partially flip open to reveal the battery. This remote takes a 12volt N-size battery.

If its a keypad remote you are referring to: The bottom half of the keypad's face should slide straight down to reveal the battery (you should see and arrow and some thumb grips). All Genie keypads take 9volt batteries.

Keypad and remote will not open door

Did the remote and keypad work before you changed the battery? Changing the battery in the keypad should not affect the remote.
