Question about Samsung ML-2510 Laser Printer
AFter removing paper after a paper jam yesterday, the printer worked fine for a while then paper wouldn't feed and machine emitts a very loud noise.
I've taken the ink cartridge out, and the other plastic internal piece to check for any paper left, and there appears to be no paper anywhere stuck inside it. I can't get the printer to work, when I replace toner cartridge and plastic inner tray, shut the door, add paper, put plastic outter cover back on and try to print the loud buzzing should starts and nothing happens. I've looked at the trouble shooting guide, done all that it suggested...but there is no paper to extract. This printer is only 4 months old. Any ideas?
I have experienced the same problem . . . a little earlier this evening. I took all the inner components out, took apart the toner cartridge, I thought that the gearing was very hard to turn on it and on the inside of printer, paper feeding etc... and that is wear the loud noise is coming from. Out of desparation, I shook it to hear if anything internally was loose and there was and still is, I would not say its the best solution or by any means a permanent but you may be able to dislodge the debris from the gearing and be able to print. After it was dislodged from my printers gearing it has worked again. Though I believe it's temporary. I am looking for a guide or how-to on opening the printer casing to physically remove the debris. If you know of a guide let me know and I am sure it would help you too.
