Well, without a brand and year, it will be hard to figure out exactly. Here are some basics.

First thing, peg the tent down. (At leat the corners)
Next, locate the two longest poles. These are usually fit through a sleeve in the roof of the tent and attached in the corners via pegs or inserted into a pin. Put one corner in, then go to the other side and slide/bend the pole until it fits into the corner. Let it flop on the ground. Do the same for the other corner and the tent should be standing.

Next, if there are other poles, they could be for the front entrance or to support the rain guard. Look for peg holes or pins to place the poles into and that should give you an idea. (Also look up your model on the internet to give you an idea how it looks.)

Depending on where you are camping, you may not need the rain cover. It goes over the top and probably bungies into the peg holes.

Hopefully this will get you started. good luck. Alley

Do not have instructions how to set it up?

What type of tent?
Typically, aluminum poles are "vertical",
while fiberglass (flexible) poles are "horizontal" (to support the top of the tent).

I need assembly instruction for 8 person cabin dome tent with screen house

Clean the ground of any rocks, logs or big sticks. Open the stuff sack and pull out all of the contents. Pull the poles out of their pole bag and set them aside. Remove the tent stakes and set them next to the tent.

  • 2 Lay out the tent poles and assemble them. Push the rod blanks together to make the tent poles that will support the mesh tent body.
  • 3 Unroll the mesh tent over the cleared ground. Take care not to step on or walk on the mesh panels. Avoid sticks and snags, as the mesh rips easier than nylon tent fabric.
  • 4 Clip the Timbertop tent pole clips to the poles. There are no tent pole sleeves because Timbertop uses external pole clips for its mesh tents. Criss-cross the tent poles and push the tent pole tips into the metal holes at the end of the pole clip lines. The mesh tent will now be standing upright.
  • 5 Place one tent stake into the ground and through a pole strap stake hole. Pull the tent out as you insert the stake to keep the mesh panels tight. Stake down each pole strap around the perimeter of the tent. Unzip the doors to enter the tent. Zip up the doors quickly after entry to keep bugs and insects out of the tent.

I have an Outbound Sierra-1 tent with no instructions for putting it up, can you help?

Lay the tent out. Thread the black poles diagonally and the grey through the front. Insert a pin to one of the black poles and then work the tent to the other end. Then put the other pin in by gently bending the pole. Make sure the tent is smoothed out as you bend it. Then insert a pin to the other pole. Lift the tent up with the fully connected pole and then smooth the tent out over the other pole. Do the same operation with the grey pole. Tie the tent up in the middle to the black poles. Attach the 'flysheet'. Then peg out the guy ropes.

How to set up a spalding uv Tex 5 tent

First set the 3 eleven piece poles with 2 crossed across the tent and one across the front portion. Feed them thru the channels and buckles. Then put the pin hooks into the bottom of the poles. You will need to arc the poles to get the pins into the end of the pole. Next put the poles that are smaller into the channels and buckles for the two vestibules. Again put the pin hooks into the same pole ends as the back crossed one.
Stake the tent to the ground by driving the stakes thru the pin rings starting at the 6 corners of the tent. Pull front of vestibule taut and secure in place by driving stakes thru webbing loops at base.
Install the rainfly by draping it over the top of the tent. Hook each of the 8 S hooks onto the provided loops. Secure the rainfly to the poles by wrapping the velcro straps around the poles underneath the rainfly.
These instructions should be in the pocket on the wall in the main section of the tent in the pocket with red writing.

Princess tent. I can't find the directions and I don't know how to put up tents. Help!

    • This tent does not come with any poles or anything that assists in setting up this tent. It just twists and "pops" up. No real assembly. Just pops up on it's own. Hope this helps.

I have a disney princess tent that goes over a twin bed and i lost the instructions to putting it together and i need help.

  • 1

Remove the tent and poles from the packaging. Select an indoor area with a high ceiling or an outdoor area without overhead obstacles. The poles are not excessively long but they will be difficult to assemble without space.

  • 2

Lay the Princess tent with the floor on the ground. Pull on each corner to tighten the floor. Assemble the two tent poles by inserting the male sections into the metal ferrules.

  • 3

Slide one pole through each of the diagonal sleeves. Place the end of each pole in the fabric pockets on the corners. This will flex the poles and raise the tent body.

  • 4

Place the fabric roof on top of the tent. Attach the hooks on each corner of the roof to the loops on the top of the pole sleeves. The roof fabric will stretch tight and cover the ventilation gap in the tent ceiling.

I purchased the toy story bed tent for my daughter and misplaced the instructions on how to put it together so if you could provide me with this I would really appreciate it

there are four pockets on the inside of the tent which hold the ends of the pole with the string in them. connect all the poles with the string in them. bend it in a (n) shape and stick the ends in the pockets. the poles are bent so as to give the tent height not depth, do the same for the rear of the tent. the twelve other poles are connected using the small connectors. one connector for two poles then stick those poles into the front and rear (n) shaped poles in the empty connector spaces already on the pole you bent. remember when you bend the pole they will not stay bent until you stick them into the inside pockets in the tent. the nylon straps at the bottom of the tent help the tent to hold on to the mattress. its simple enjoy. i put all the poles together first and then had my helper to hold it in a (n) shape until i could stick the legs into the pockets. look inside the tent once together you will see where you need to tie the nylon straps to the poles

Hello. I have a disney princess bed tent that my daughter recieved for christmas. We went to go and set it up and the instructions are missing. Is it possible to get a copy faxed/emailed to me?

I just put one of these up today with no instructions so I am going to share my experience. In my Disney bed tent there were two long sets of poles held together by an elastic string. 1) put these two sets of poles together. Now you should have two long poles. 2) Turn the three way brackets all the same direction on both long poles. 3) Lay out the tent and look in each corner of the tent for a little pocket to insert the end of a long pole...taking the other end insert into pocket, not diagonally, straight across the long way. 4) Do the same with the other side of the tent and long pole. 5) Now take your ten short poles and attach two together making 5 medium sized poles 6) Push these into the brackets along the long pole, kind of has a ladder effect. You are done!! I use mine with a full size blow up bed, the elastic gets stretched but I can set it up easily outside, or in the livingroom. Enjoy Nancy

Can I download a user manual for Tadpole 23 tent?

I wasn't able to find a manual, but after looking at the website, the tent looks fairly easy to set up.

Lay the tent out flat and peg down four corners. Then take the longest two poles and put them diagonally through the tent sleeves. Then, put the third pole (for the doorway) through it's sleeves.

Next, you'll have to put the pole point into the hole at either end. Then, go to the other end and bend the pole until you can get the other end in the corresponding hole. Do this for the other diagonal and the tent should be standing. The last one is the door pole

Last, lay the rain cover over the tent. There should be some hooks to strap the hood down near the poles. Don't worry about any strings, etc. Those are for high winds and almost never needed. Good luck

No instructions on how to set up 3-bedroom Coleman tent.

First, I would try Coleman.com and see if they can send you a manual or direct you on their website.

Assuming the picture is the tent I can help (and even if it isn't, these are basic setup steps). Peg the tent down. Lay it out and pick about six spots to peg it down.

Next, get the two or three longest poles. These are the support poles. Run them diagonally or maybe side to side through the pole sleeves on the top of the tent. Once all the way through, put one end in the hole (or possibly in the pin) depending on if you poles have points or holes in the end. You'll then bend the pole, raising a portion of the tent to make the other end of the pole fit. Look for hooks to hold the tent poles to the poles. Do the same for the other pole/s. And it doesn't matter which pole goes together first.

Once you have the two or three longest ones in, the rest is extra. From the looks of it, you may have one pole running from the door area to the rear. If there is one, it's usually slid into a pouch and tied with a plastic string at the top of the tent to the other poles.

Other poles, if they are there are for side support or rain cover support.

Figure out which way the rain cover goes, then attach the bungie to the pole at the base of the pole. It should have some type of hook. Once the cover is on, it may take a pole underneath it. If so, there will be a small pocket or pouch for the pole.

Don't worry about the strings and extra stuff. (Unless you're expecting monster winds). You should have extra pegs, strings and maybe a pole or two. As long as you get the main two or three support poles up, you're solid. Good luck
