Question about Dryers

Kenmore Gas (propane) Dryer

My Problem is this -

Our dryer was drying one load, then the next load was still wet. I checked the vent for obstructions and found none. The igniter would not glow, so I changed it. I have cleaned every inch of the dryer and still nothing. I checked wiring, looked for power and found everything working, getting power all the way to the coils on the gas valve. The igniter still does not glow and the gas valve will not open. I am thinking it is probably the coils, but, I wanted to check with you guys first. I just didn't want to throw good money after bad. Can you give me some advice or some ideas as to what it might be? Also, what type of voltage values should be coming down to the valve or coils?

Kenmore model 90 dryer electric will dry the clothes takes a long time. Leaves the floor surrounding the dryer damp actually wet just not puddled

Are the clothes wet AND hot? If so - check the exhaust / vent hose for kinks or obstructions. That includes the cap / flap on the outside of the house.

If the clothes are wet AND cold, then the electric heating element isn't heating likely due to a broken or poor electrical connection, burned out heating element, defective thermostat, etc..

Have a Kenmore 90 series gas dryer model 110. 72922188 that won't come up to heat and dry the clothes...Popped the front, cleaned all the lint areas, checked the cycle knobs for proper setting, tub/ motor...

aslong as the ignitor is glowing red then a click frome the flame switch and lights the burner tube and continues to repeat this over then dryer is ok ...... take venting off back of dryer and do a test load .... that will solve if it's a venting problem... if dryer dryes clothes with venting off back of dryer then it is a venting problem ..... from vent tube to out side exhaust... if dryer dosent dry clothes with vent off then u need to replace the gas coils black cylinders on top of gas valve... cost around $30.00 and very easy to installl 2 phillips screws in bracket cap on top of the coils slide off and replace one at a time there is a large coil and small coil and they both come in same kit and need to go back in the same spot they came off in ....part numbers..# 306106 306105 or recheck your model number off dryer data plate and order off

It takes 2 cycles to get load to dry. What should I do?

Check for proper venting. If the lint filter or exhaust vent is clogged the clothes will be hot but still wet if there is a blockage in either the lint filter or the exhaust vent.

Clothes get warm but stay wet and do not fully

You need to check the venting. Take the vent hose off the back of the dryer and try drying a load with it off and see if it will fully dry. If so, clean the vent hose.

Gas dryer not drying clothes

Hi, Dryers are simple machines to fix yourself so the main reasons dryers do not dry cloths is listed below.
1. Make sure the vent is clear from obstruction of lint built up by taking off vent and make sure the vent flap is opening when dryer is on, beware most house fires are caused by neglect of dryer vent!
2. People allot of times overload machine which causes cloths not to dry.
3. Electrical Repair Needed: one of the thermostats in the dryer are defective

Maytag gas dryer runs, doesn't dry

Check in the hole where the screen goes for blockage. Many times debries falls in there when removing screen. It cant make it out of the vent so it builds up and clogs the vent.
