Question about Dryers
My Problem is this -
Our dryer was drying one load, then the next load was still wet. I checked the vent for obstructions and found none. The igniter would not glow, so I changed it. I have cleaned every inch of the dryer and still nothing. I checked wiring, looked for power and found everything working, getting power all the way to the coils on the gas valve. The igniter still does not glow and the gas valve will not open. I am thinking it is probably the coils, but, I wanted to check with you guys first. I just didn't want to throw good money after bad. Can you give me some advice or some ideas as to what it might be? Also, what type of voltage values should be coming down to the valve or coils?
Theres a black box eithr on the left or right of the tube that the flame comes on it. its a flame sensor. when the sensor is bad the ignitor cant come on
