Question about RCA OPAL M4001 MP3 Player
Check to see if the hold key is on. It's on the side of the player, and the slider should be down. Putting on the cover can move it to the "up" (and locked) position.

Either simple fix or bad deal ya got there....either you charging cord is broken, which can easily be replaced....or its the chraging port inside of your device which is sort of a problem..you can replace tha part but it may take time to find it...but if you have a warranty on the device, just send it in and the manufacturer will send another one to you
