I have 9 wire from my front of my case &2line USB in the names are SHIELD/GROUND1/GROUND2/-D1/-D2/+D1/+D2/ +5V1/+5V2 & Ihave 9 socket on my mainboard IWILL P4S from plug in the wires there are...

Refer to the drawing below and I will explain the connections. You have the nine wires as you described. First, you will not be connecting the SHIELD to anything, so set it aside. Now, the remaining 8 wires are split into 2 groups of four. You have +5V1, -D1, +D1, +GROUND1 on the first group. These wires will attach to the ODD pins 1,3,5,7 respectively (see the chart next to the drawing). Use the missing pin location to orient yourself to the EVEN and ODD pins. The remaining wires +5V2, -D2, +D2, and GROUND2 will go on the EVEN pins 2,4,6,8 respectively.

I cannot connect my usb on my motherboard..ASUS p5sd2-vm..the wires i hav infront of me are -d,+d,vcc1,vcc2,gnd,gnd...so how do i connect them to the motherboard..i tried looking at diagrams but that wont...

I put this as a reference to you. Look in your manual to see what it means. I picked p5 and p6 usb from your manual. from what you listed, you should have 8 wires like vcc1 and vcc2 there should also be -d1 and -d2 and +d1 and also a +d2. The 1 is a set and 2 is also a set. Dont mix and match. they have to go in a set.

set 1
vcc1 = usb+5v
-d = usb_p5-
+d = usb_p5+
gnd = gnd

set2
vcc2 = usb+5v
-d2 = usb_p6-
+d2 = usb_p6+
gnd = gnd

Finding the correct row num

You would have to combine the use of 2 functions. The Address and Match funbctions.
Lets say the number you want the address of is located in cell F1 and you have 2 columns of numbers. One colum in Column A and the other in column B. I will give you 2 formulas. The 1st one will return just the row number. The 2nd one will return the cell address.

Option 1: Lets say you just want to know the row reference of the number in cell F1. Place this formula in cell D1. =MATCH(F1,A1:A20)
If you have another column ytou want the row number of, place the formula in lets say cell D2 and change the column references from 'A' to 'B'.

Option 2: If you want the cell reference, place this formula in cell D1 and D2 instead of the firt formula.
=ADDRESS(MATCH(F1,A1:A20,0),1,1,TRUE)
And just like the first option, for the 2nd column, put the formula in D2 and change the column reference 'A' to 'B'.
