How do I install bicycle light?

Dynamo Lighting can be a devil to install.

With a standard dynamo there it only a positive cable the idea being that the current flows back through th eframe to the negative / earth on the dynamo clamp.

In practice this is fine, but if you have a headsey with a plastcu bearing cup this won't work.

To make sure just run a negative wire from the dynamo "foot" (bit you put the fixing bolt through" to the negative terminals on the lights.

If you are enjoying your dynamo lights then after a a while you may consider an upgrade to a hub dynamo, which is silent, efficnet and has possitive and negative terminals.

My battie light came in and didnt go off for a while it finally went off no the lights went dim and i had it busted and them started it up this morning then it dies again and now want start back

the battery light on the dash board turns on only if the battery is not charging
witch is means the problem basically on the (dynamo) itself and it probably affected your car`s battery as well
so you need to check the dynamo first check the dynamo belt
if not then you are facing a problem you`ll have to tail your car then have it`s dynamo checked at the work shop
the dynamo could have a bad regulators witch is something like ic or semiconductor thing
or the dynamo itself got melted cooper coils and it means you need to replace the whole dynamo
battery to be recharged and checked at the workshop and after the recharging completed if it found to be stop charging you will have to replace it also

I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO CONNECT MY BYCICLE LIGHT GENERATOR

The generator, or dynamo, fits onto the back fork bar of the bike. The top, which rotates, should be close to the tyre of the back wheel. There's a little lever which you press downwards. When you press it the dynamo moves in against the tyre so that when you're cycling the movement of the wheel causes the top of the dynamo to rotate. To stop it, or turn off your lights, you pull the dynamo back out from the tyre. You need to adjust the dynamo so that the top of the dynamo makes contact when the lever is pressed but doesn't when it's pulled back out.

Normally a dynamo has only one wire which connects to the lights. You need to use lights designed for it. This carries the positive current. The frame of the bike usually acts as the negative. Some dynamos may have 2 wires. In this case the positive connects to the centre of the light and the negative to the outer.

Trimmer dosen't start. Started one day - the next day nothing. I've replaced the plug, checked for spark (seems weak),gapped the ingition module, tried carb cleaner in the cylinder, and still won't go....

When you gapped module did you set it to Manufacturers spec.....extremely important, also supposed to use brass feeler blades to gap. Gap is usually 0.010" inch. Also ensure that the flywheel magnets are NOT rusty.

Timing will alter if flywheel key is worn.

Is fuel getting through as the carby has a fuel pump diaphragm in it also.

Have you trieds pulling choke when it splutters, will ID fuel stravation??

Wiring of a Panasonic CQ-C1001N Car CD Player into a Morris 1000

You can get wiring diagrams on line, do a search using the players full name. Is your morris positive on negative earth? you will have to swap it if it is positive as the player is negative earth only (usually dynamo is +ve and alternators are-ve ) I have changed lots over when dynamos were common, turn the battery round and pull the 2 wires off the dynamo take a wire from the +ve battery terminal  and "wipe it across the 2 terminals on the dynamo, this will make it -ve earth too, re connect the dynamo and off you go
