Question about HP Color Laserjet 3550 Printer
Just recently my printer has begun leaving what looks like smears of color along the entire length of any printed document. It started when I replaced my Cyan toner...then things that had no blue color (specifically) our logo, started having a faint blue background. We calibrated...same problem. Yesterday I replaced my black toner and now I am getting long lines that look like ladders all along my papers. I have tried calibrating, cleaning and pulling out my hair. Any suggestions? ink smears approximately 1 inch wide and 3 inches from left side of page for the entire length of page
Are you using Genuine HP cartridges?
Cause from the sounds of things, youre having cartridge problems, Cyan is faulty "blue background" replace with gen. If the black is recycled/non HP then that will be your ladder problem too., If you are in fact using HP let me know and I will tell you how to isolate your fault further ie you have a fuser or transfer belt fault.
