Question about IBM ThinkPad R51 Notebook
Access ibm info:
Bios Setup Utility page
Bios version 1.22
bios date 2005-05-20
I get the xp page at startup, and then it goes straight to bsod with error. I can't even start it in safe mode. Don't have original recovery cd's. The computer was at my dad's office. Is there a way that I can just wipe it clean and start from the very beginning? If so, what cd's do I need to get my hands on?
You need winxp bootable disk for format or repair your winxp.
Then boot your computer with that disk.
For that when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or "del" key to enter in bios .
Then set first boot device in bot option as your cd or dvd rom. Then save settings .
Then put your disk in rom then it boot with it.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
