I have a Crosley Model C31113WAV and was wondering if there was a way to adjust the top sealed burners. They do not heat efficiently and look high.

The burners sound like a torch running and they take forever to heat the pan on the burner.

SOURCE: gas range top burners too hot

Get the installation manual for your range, and find the part on adjusting the low heat for the burners. On my Whirlpool, I found there is an adjustment screw inside the control knob shaft of each burner. The manual says turn the burner on low, remove the knob, then turn this screw until the flames are 1/4" high. Super-easy, it took me 5 minutes to do. I am sure all ranges have similar adjustments, might be in different locations - check the manual.

SOURCE: My electric stove top burner only works on high

This is for the glass top units. well i'm not sure if your problem is with your large or small single burner or the large expandable burner. If it's the large or small single burner replace the burner and if it the expandable also replace the burner. If you have a coil burner replace the infinite switch. Good luck hope this helps you.

SOURCE: kenmore glass top range left front large burner out

check the burner socket, it is likely that contact is being lost where the burner connects to the hardwired portion of the system (the socket). It is not unusual for the socket to "burn up" when there is a poor connection to the burner resulting in the burner being replaced and the new burner not working or working intermittently.

Flame on our new Samsung gas stove too high... simmer is still boiling everything

It is generally not possible to reduce the flow of gas to the burners on a stove top. The burners on a gas stove are designed to operate at a specific flow rate, and reducing the flow of gas to the burners could affect their performance. If you are concerned about the amount of gas being used by your stove top burners, there are a few things you can try:
  1. Make sure the burners are properly adjusted so that the flame is the correct size for the pan you are using.
  2. Use a pan with a flat bottom that is the same size as the burner. This will help ensure that the burner is being used efficiently.
  3. Turn the burner off as soon as the pan is hot enough. This will help conserve gas and reduce your energy usage.
If you are still concerned about the amount of gas being used by your stove top burners, you may want to consider switching to an electric stove or using a gas stove with a more efficient design.

I have model SF114PXSB2 and want to know can I turn the lowest heat setting to a lower setting on the range top. Right now the lowest setting is still too high.

This should be a gas range according to #. Sounds like burner valve worn out.
You should replace your burner valve for that burner. I don' t believe they are adjustable.
$50 part at Sears.

HOW TO CONVERT FROM NATURAL GAS T PROPANE

Their are 2 types of ranges. Ones with sealed burners and ones that do not have sealed burners. The sealed burner ranges must have a kit to replace the orifices. The none seal burner models are simply called crank down and flip models. That means you flip the screw on top of the regulator to where it reads LP. and then you tighten down the spuds on the top burners and the oven valve and then you adjust the air shutters.

Note: Some stoves with sealed burners cannot be converted to LP. The model number you posted is not a correct model number.
