Are you entering the correct password? There is a way to get your files if your iPod touch is jailbroken. You can access the root folder by using iPhone Explorer or Winscp. You have to have OpenSSH installed on your phone. You can download it in Cydia. If your phone is not jailbroken, I believe you can just delete the application and then download it again. No need to worry about the payment because when you buy an application in the App Store, you can download it as many times as you want provided you use the same account.
Press and hold the the icon for the game that is giving you greif. The icon will start to shake, and a little x will apear at the top right corner. Press this x.
