Question about Gateway Computers & Internet
I have a Gateway 420GR it boots up to the windows screen but after a minute it freezes completely, and there are these distorted green blocks all over the screen. I don't know if its the graphics card or the whole hard drive.
Try rebooting your computer with a disc or discs that came with it. That disc or discs should reinstall windows. If this does not work try getting linux or dos on a cd an try betting from the cd instead of the HDD. If this does not work either then it must your graphics card or HDD. I am leaning more towards graphics card because ussually your computer will give you a blue screen if your hard drive fails.
