    It is a whirlpool clothers washer. On the diagram the pump is in front on the left side. I don't want to take out screws that I don't have to. I haven't taken any steps with the exception of just surveying the machine

REmove the CAT pump off my Excell Pro 2530 washer

The pump I assume came on from the manufacturer. Sometimes they dont put anything on to allow you to take it off. Heat can cause it to fuse and it becomes difficult. On the top on side of the pump right in front of the flange...the area where you took the 4 bolts off the engine....should be a hole. You can see the engine shaft through this hole. slowly turn the craftshaft by pulling on your pullrope ...slowly...as you look into the hole. You should see a set screw where the key on the shaft is. Thats probably holding it. After you loosen the key set screw it may still be difficult. Get a pry bar as well as a torch. Im assuming you are removing the pump permanently. IF so then Lightly heat around the area where the shaft goes into the pump. DO NOT heat the shaft or the engine itself. It should release though without any heat. May I point out before removing though that you can easily rebuild these pumps without removing them. Just get the model of your cat pump...Its a 2.5 gallon 3000psi pump... and go to this site for parts. But a total rebuild on that pump is a packing kit, piston kit(if needed at all), and oil. They have all that and more. Good luck! Pressure washer parts catalog quick links Pressure Washers High Pressure...

My lg WM2277HW is not draining water. It's filling with water and spinning but not draining the water. An oe error is being displayed. I checked the hoses and they seem fine. I checked the filter and there...

Remove and inspect the drain pump. (access is from the bottom of the washer once you remove all screws holding the pump housing in the front)
If no debris found when removing pump or pump impeller is damaged - replace. PArt number 4681EA2001D.
If found debris when removing the pump - reassemble and check again.
Good luck.

Cat pressure washer pump model 4hp40g1 no pressure and then quits, what could be wrong?

Sounds like you may need to remove the valves to check for any dirt etc. Is the machine juddering when on pressure. If so then it will be the valves that just want removing and cleaning

HOW HARD IS IT TO REPLACE THE BELT ON A AMANA ALW430RAW WASHER

that belt replacement requires some effort but you can do it with a little patience. then you will have your reward plus your washer will be fixed. you'll need a torx head screw driver ( if u don't have one they sell them at the hardware store) and a 1/2 inch socket. it requires removing motor pump assembly from washer and then removing pump from motor. it will take you a while. it's not as hard as it looks. good luck.

TOP LOADING WASHER leaking water

Check the pump and the inlet valves. The pump is located behind the drain line, and the two inlet valves are located in behind the knobs up top and can be removed by removing two screws up top and then removing the screws on the back side

Frigidaire Affinity Washer won't spin- E20

E20 = Clogged drain pump.

Tools I used: vice grips, both phillips and standard screw drivers, flash light and an 8mm socket with ratchet.

I solved this problem by removing the rear oval type cover by removing the 6 phillips screws that hold it on, but first thing is to unplug the machine! I unplugged the electrical connection going to the pump. Then I removed the hose closest to me by removing the pinch clamp with a pair of vice grips. Then I removed the two screws holding the pump down to the frame of the washer (8mm socket). Then I removed the farthest hose by removing the pinch clamp with the vice grips. Once this was done I took out the pump. The hose entering the pump contained a sock, debit card and thirty-five cents!

Once I removed all of the debris I reversed the order but this time I used an automotive hose clamp which makes re-assemble waaay easier!!! (Saves about 30 mins) Total repair time took me 1 hour, but if you use an aftermarket hose clamp instead of the pinch clamp on the hose coming into the pump this will save you at least 30 minutes because it is soo difficult to put back on because of the tight space.

One-hour, a minor cut and $2.35 for the clamps later all is fixed!
