You either have a damaged wifi board or corrupted ID storage

good day sir!!!!
this are steps how to connect your psp to wireless connection...

4.Select infrastructure mode.

Otherwise if you know all of your network settings, you can do it manually.
7.Select your WiFi networks SSID.
8.Enter your security settings (if applicable: WEP, WEP TKIP, Shared Key).
9.Select "Easy" in configure network settings to obtain an I
.P address.
10.Confirm the settings
.
11.Test the connection
.
12.Go back to the main menu, select the broswer and enter a web address (e
.g www.google.com) Your PSP's internet is ready to be surfed out wirelessly!
The PSP, unless you have a hack installed, will not be able to browse sites such as Youtube, Facebook or Twitter because they require flash/java/enhanced memory (this is not the memory stick) it can however use Facebook mobile or Myspace mobile by typing in m.facebook/m.myspace.com.

if this help you please rate me thank you sir....

"how do i connet to the internet on my psp"

You need to have a WiFi network or be on a WiFi hotspot. If you are connecting to a secured network, make sure you get the passkey from the WiFi admin. If you want to setup a WiFi network at your place. You need to buy a Wireless router. Usually costs around $50-$60. This will share your internet connection wirelessly.

Sony psp

Hi PrincessDi,

The PSP can only connect to the internet through WIFI.  You can ride around to find a hot spot, or go to an internet cafe'.  I can go to the big sity nearby on main street and always pick up a hotspot. Run network connection to setup the wifi and connect.  In your home you will need internet, and a router setup to broudcast Wifi.  The USB port on your PSP is for loading up stuff like music Video and games.  You could go online on your computer and go to www.playstation.com and download Music,Video, Wallpapers, Screenshots, and trial Games. Then hook up your PSP through the USB connection to load whatever you downloaded on your computer to the MagicGate Card in your PSP.  WWW.Playstation.com also has the manual you can download under PSP and Support.
