Question about Sigma 18-50mm f/3.5-5.6 DC for Olympus Digital SLR
There may be a problem with the charging unit on the camera itself which will require service attention.
However first remove the Lithium Ion battery from the camera. Check that the contacts are clean - rub them over with a clean rag. Reinsert and power up again. Ensure that you have not turned the flash function off in the menu at any point by mistake.
Observe to see if the lightening symbol is flashing to indicate flash is charging when the flash is activated.
You can also return to the camera to factory default settings, set [RESET] under [CUSTOM RESET SETTING] to see if this helps.
If the charge light does not work or there is no change after applying the above solutions there is a component failure which will require service by Olympus.
Hope this helps. Please remember to rate my answer. Many Thanks.
