I bought a Kenmore dehumidifier 2 years ago which worked fine until this week. Now when I turn it on, the fan turns on, but when the compressor (I'm guessing) tries to run, it instead makes a buzzing sound and shuts down, leaving only the fan running.
This buzzing sound repeats every few seconds; any ideas?

sounds like the compressor is seized.
