Question about GE Refrigerators
I just bought a top freezer used. The freezer is cold the fridge isnt. It was working at the guys house.
I have an older unit that sounds similar, so try this: Look at the bottom back of the freezer compartment. You are looking for a piece of plactic that looks like a shelf, covering the duct that connects the freezer compartment to the fridge compartment. It may have been jostled closed in the move. The adjustment is easy; open the plastic more for colder. Mine has tabs on it that fit into grooves on the back of the freezer, and they were broken, so I made a replacement out of plexiglas from Lowe's. If you have a similar arrangement, you can make a lot of different things work. Please look and re-post here if necessary. I'll check back.
Best regards. --W/D--
