encounter with a projection TV may be resolved through the resetting to its
factory settings. If you experience inaccuracies in the color, reset the
television's PerfectTint/PerfectColor capabilities. Simply press the Menu tab
and then highlight "Perfect Color" using your right key arrow. After this,
press "Enter" and then "Reset" in order to reset to factory settings. If you
have audio / video problems (VCR or DVD player), simply press "Menu" and

A rolling picture or loss of vertical sync can be caused by several components including a bad signal board or jack panel assy. You will not be able to resolve this yourself. contact a Mitsubishi authorized service center.
Usually this is a problem in teh vertical circuit and generally results in a thin horizontal line through the center of the screen. If that is the case, look for a small flat IC that may be marked LA7837 or someting similar with about 11 pins. This should be the vertical IC. Try resoldering the pins on the IC first. If that fails to resolve the problem, replace the IC. Please note that defective capacitors in the vertical circuit can cause this as well. The more probable defect is the IC. Update this with your results. Also be aware that there are potentially dangerous high voltages inside the set even when unplugged.
